I couldnt be happier with this purchase. Speaker sounds awesome. Just read some reviews online about the sound quality. Extra Bass feature is only good for certain music. Rubber on the outside is percect for gripping surfaces. Holds a charge a long time as well. Buy this one you will love it!!

Water resistant? Yes, but I didn't and don't require anything I would submerge, carry in the rain, or go swimming with either. I needed something I could listen to quality tunes of my choice in various parts of my home without sounding tinny, hollow, underpowered, and give me that vibe music has to offer. Battery life is more than adequate for me as I listen to music for the better part of my day at home. The range between my phone and speaker works well throughout my three bedroom home. Initial pairing is quick and connections afterward are also quick with no drops for me. The design is pleasing and fits in well throughout the home without looking like a chunky toy. Rear access door for charging is slightly odd but recharging isn't too often and I can certainly live with it as it functions as needed. Slightly hefty feel to it, but like I said, I needed a quality speaker to move about my home and it does quite well for a fair price. I like it and am happy with the purchase.

Went on to purchase this and was happy with the sound quality. tested other brands but this one really beats them to it. Sound clarity is awesome and the deep Bass gives it quite a punch. Battery life is pretty descent. only downside is connectivity issues. but overall very very satisfied with the product.

such great sound... love the extra bass when you want it. So portable . New smart phone owner and this takes the place of most of my music listening. I got it at a good price.

Have bought 2 of these now. The quality is awesome. Has USB for charging devises, audio in jack. You can add more speakers to it via Bluetooth connection. The sound is great, has a button for extra bass . The charge is fast and last for days so far. You can answer your phone via the Bluetooth connect. I would recommend if you want a great party speaker buy this, was not expecting it to be this good. Sony has done it again.

I was in the market for a Bluetooth speaker. Although I did some research, I did not research this exact model. From my research, Sony had good ratings though. This little speaker puts out an amazing sound for it being fairly small. Also, because of its size, it is very portable! The bass boost button is also a nice touch. The battery life is very good for this speaker as well.

I do not think there is a better product for the price. I bought this for traveling in Europe. Great on the beach, hotels, etc. even was told to turn it down on a couple occasions. The best qualities would be the long life of the battery and the option of extra bass. I haven't tried the option of hooking up two speakers to the same device but I believe it will be amazing.

I received this as a gift. I've used it both as a bluetooth speaker and as a speaker with a line-in. The range of tones is exceptional and it gives you nice big bass while still giving you crystal clear highs. I would recommend this to anyone who asked. Ooh! And, it's water resistant AND rechargeable. I love being able to take it with me without needing to worry about recharging it as it lasts for hours on a single charge. (I don't know how long exactly, but easily 6 or more.)

Last year my friend had a speaker that I enjoyed hearing. He informed me that that speaker got wet and no longer was operable. He showed me his new speaker and I listened to the music that was playing. I fell in Love with the sound, size and price offered. Now, many community owners have heard the fantastic sound of my new Sony and they have also purchased the same speaker.

This speaker is well worth the price. If you compare it against other speakers, it has a much longer battery run time and a much better sound. The size is optimal: small enough to be easily portable, yet still delivers great sound. I'm glad I did plenty of research before buying. I completely agree with other 5-start reviews.

Battery life, sound quality, size, very good price

Was thinking about getting the JBL charge, but after hearing the demo, I decided to get the Sony instead. Sound quality is amazing. Battery life is.... so.. so! You can actually buy two of these and make one a left channel and another a right channel. Cool. Got these on sale, for about 120. Went back on Sunday to get another one, price went back to normal. Ask if they would price match the day before, said no. Bummer! Oh well. Overall very satisfied! You won't be disappointed.

This speaker for the size has tremendous sound. Definitely has the extra bass. Sounds better than Bose at 1/2 the cost.

This is by far the best wireless speaker. We like it so much we have purchased one for each of our children. The sound quality, especially the bass is fantastic and the price is unbeatable. We have taking it with us on the boat and enjoyed hours of quality music, the charge lasts for a minimum of 6 hours.

I was very surprised on how loud and how much bass this speaker had for its size and its price tag. Originally i was going to buy a Beats Pill + but when i heard this sony speaker on display at best buy it was an automatic win. To be straight with you guys i am a BIG Klipsch fan and would have prefered to have purchased the Klipsch Groove Portable Bluetooth Speaker but since BestBuy didnt have it on display and only available online, i bought the sony speaker and i have No regrets. I actually bought it for my brother in law, and i got to mess with it and fully charge it before sending it to him. It sounds fantastic with hiphop music and Alternative Rock, i cant speak much for metal music as i dont listen to rock that is that heavy lol. It definetely shines with modern Jazz and Acoustic music. If i had something to complaint about it would be the lack of color choice. I would have preffered a solid black version but blue was the only color available and to be honest it didnt bother me or my brother in law either. I am happy he liked it as much as i did.

Love this bluetooth speaker! I'm very particular about sound quality and this met my expectations at the right price point. It outperformed several other brands in the store. It has been excellent in everyday use and the battery keeps amazing me with how long it retains a charge, even when I'm also charging my phone from it. Looking for a great value speaker at a great price? This is the one.

This product has excellent sound for its small size and is it very easily transportable in as a very good power supply for long periods of play

It's very convenient. Small enough to travel anywhere with but provides enough volume and great sound. Also, purchased it when it was on sale. All in all, very satisfied with this purchase.

Sony takes a "public opinion back seat" to Bose and others, however, Sony always delivers when it comes to sound. This small but powerful wireless speaker is no different. Priced well under $200, and packing a real punch, it's a no brainer. Sure, you can pay a lot more for another brand, but why? Battery life exceeds what they advertise and the bass is pretty amazing. A smart buy if you ask me.

I originally wanted to purchase a Bose speaker and ran into problem after problem with them not wanting to connect or cutting out after they connected. I turned it back in and tried a different one 3 times before finally giving up and going with this one. I was pleasantly surprised, easy to use and great sound. I was surprised by the amount of base that it produces. I am very happy with my purchase.
