The sound is way better quality than some of the extremely expensive small speakers. Sony just has better base no tin sound to it.

Love it...I love the sound quality and its heavier than the rest. It will bot fall off the table due to the bass bumping.....

Great bass for such a small box. Weather proof is a plus for on the beach. Holds a long charge. We take it everywhere!

This speaker is one of my favorite gear I own. The audio quality is darn good. It is no desktop sophisticated system good, but for a speaker with such a small form factor, I'm very happy with its sound. I usually turn on the bass booster when listening to music and turn it off when I listen to podcasts. The battery life is great. I use this for my weekly 8-hour road trips, and I use it everyday for about an hour. I end up needing to charge it about once every two weeks.
