It is an excellent standalone speaker, but the quality could be better in catching mids, and the overall volume doesn't reach near "concert" levels. Gets 4 stars for the Extra Bass feature that exceeds its own size, overall quality of sound, portability, and ease of Stereo setup (just press the Add button on both speakers). Doesn't get 5 stars because it should be at least twice as loud. Note that I am using these as my Car speakers by placing them in the door pocket, and they even hold up there.
