Nice clarity, good bass, long charge & plenty loud. Those who have heard it say it compares favorably to the more expensive JBL's and Bose units. Only wish the bluetooth range was further (okay to 35'). Probably your best option under $200.

I wanted a speaker to play my music to workout, be outside, shower and play it loud! It does exactly what I want it to do. The neat feature is that I can answer my cell phone calls through the speaker and the calls come through pretty clear. Worth every penny for me! :)

Easy to use, water resistance gives a relief of mind when using it while you shower, very nice bass, and decent battery. Bought it as a birthday present for my father and he uses it all the time. Its not too heavy and pretty loud. Overall happy with the purchase.

I am a Bose fan and usually have found Sony to be over priced so yesterday I bought a Bose Soundlink II. I was not satisfied with the audio quality or power output. Today I bought this Sony speaker. It blows the Bose out of the water, I couldn't believe the difference. Better sound quality and frequency response, much better bass response especially with the bass boost on. 10 dB's louder (SPL meter at same distance) with no distortion at full volume. Almost as good as my full size 3-way studio monitors. Long battery life even at high volume. I'm buying another one tomorrow, I'm a rock drummer and I like it loud but I like to relax with classical and both sound fantastic with this speaker. Definitely the best speaker in the store for the price and size..

The speaker has good sound quality, links very quickly with my phone, and does not drop the connection. I have a Bose speaker that cost 3 or 4 times as much and it was total garbage. Constantly dropped the connection. This speaker is soooo much better.

This item did not fit my needs. I'm sure it is a great product and will work for others, but just not for me.
