I bought this speaker on a whim, an implulse buy, actually. I took it home after having listened to it at the store. Initially i thought the base was too boomy and muddled. But i quickly appreciated its theater-like qualities when watching movies at home and its room-filling sound when listening to music with friends. Great sound.

I'm very stubborn and particular about the sound output of electronic products. And after reviewing several portable speakers, the consensus was that the Bose SoundLink® Bluetooth® speaker III had the best sound quality of all the portable speakers within my price range, and I was willing to shell out the almost $300 price tag for it. Until....I went and listened to several other options within store. The Sony Xb3 Portable Wireless Speaker's sound quality can be surmised in one word. Pristine! The sound output out of this speaker is of the highest quality...much better than the Bose, which sounded muffled. And it was less expensive! Extremely happy with this purchase!

My son bought this little speaker. I was amazed at how good the sound was. I went and bought myself one a few days later. I am very happy with the sound, battery life and portability.

I bought this speaker as my son loves his music, loves it loud and loves that bass. He is always blowing out his speakers.....so far so good with this speaker. Since it is Bluetooth capable he uses it everywhere. I am sure he and his friends will be enjoying it this summer quite a lot.

This speakers is very easy to use and sounds great. Speaker can charge my I phone lt has awesome sounding bass and can crank out some tunes. Very happy with quality, sound, and cost

Battery life is fantastic! Well built solid sound but fairly flat without the bass boost on. Upper middle class volume so its easy to hear outside in a wide open area within about 10-15 meters. Outside of that range it washes out to ambient noise. Pairs easily and holds signal well.

I previously had a SONY SRSXB2, after wearing it out (I use it on my motorcycle and it took a beating) I needed an upgrade. After checking out the SRSXB3 and seeing the improved bass sound and price point I couldn't get anything else.

This wireless speaker sounds better than a Bose. The price is reasonable for the quality. It is easy to set up and use. I like that I can move it around in my house to listen.

At 8in long and about 3in high this speaker kicks out the jams pretty well. Very good bass, especially with the bass boost on. Great battery life and easy to pair with. I really like the option to link two speakers together too. Can get a little distorted at highest volumes of course.

For a small speaker has awesome sound and excellent bass! The cons it's a little heavier then expected and it's only water resistant not waterproof. Still a great speaker!

Great base for listening to music. Super clear when listening to my books. Loud enough that I don't feel like I have to wear my headphones when working around the house.

I really adore this speaker and the sound output. It's really one of the best that I've seen and tested. I've used it inside, outside and the sound remains the same, crisp, clear and full of bass (if you want that extra boom). You can also leave the extra bass features off and still enjoy a great sound.

I am happy with my purchase. The volume and sound quality is great. It takes little to no time to charge. Very portable and lightweight. My only issue is I wish there were buttons to change the song on the speaker

I really like this speaker. It has a really good sound, you have the option to include more bass if you prefer and the battery life is really good. For indoor playing it is perfect if you like to move your music from room to room during different times of the day.

When I went to Best Buy, I wasn't sure what I was looking for but the salesperson was terrific!! He took the time to explain all the various products - he asked me questions to ensure this product would fit my needs. They certainly do!! The sound is amazing and he was not wrong about the added bass. LOVE IT!! I am thinking of buying one more :-)

I have had this speaker for just over a month. It sounds really good with all kinds of music. Really loud for the size and battery life is pretty good as well.

Excellent blue tooth speaker for around the house. Easy to set up, for the over 50 crowd, and use. Good sound quality. We like the extra boost for the bass.

This is a very handy speaker to take anywhere. It holds a charge for at least 15 hrs of use so far. The bass boost and the Bluetooth connection are awesome.
