Great Product, still going strong. Wish I could Find more, as they bluetooth signal can signal more of these speakers to play whatever your are playing from the 1st connected speaker.

I'm taking back what I said in a previous review.. this speaker has better bass than the ue megaboom. it might not be quite as loud. but the quality in bass, especially with electronic or digital music like dubstep, or hip hop is astounding. it can handle more than u think.. The smaller version is also great to.

I've used multiple bluetooth/wireless speakers over the years and the bass on this one (witht the "Extra Bass" enabled) is amazing! The speakers deliver a nice clean sound. I'm curious to see how well it works when paired with another speaker for stereo sound.

I purchased this speaker for cheerleading practice. It is used seasonally 2-3 times a week for maybe 1-2 hours a day. After less than a year of use the sound quality has diminished greatly. The sound fades in and out and sometimes it crackles so badly you have to turn it off. Its never touched water. Yes, in the store it does sound great. I compared it to Beats and the JBL 3... but what's the point of great sound for less than 9 months of use? I started using my old JBL that I retired when this started acting up.

I thought this speaker would be a big upgrade/change to the srsx33 but it really disappointed. The extra bass button drowns the sound with really a much louder bass sound rather than deeper and more bass. Without the deep bass button the sound is flat and not very full. i would purchase the srsx33 over this any day, in fact i returned mine to wait for the jbl charge 3 because the srsx33 is now an old model and stores aren't restocking it.

This is a great player that plays wireless and has a rechargeable battery!

WARNING: Do not buy this speaker unless you only want it for a few years. Sony does NOT offer replacement batteries for it (call them if you don't believe me) and so it goes in the TRASH when the battery finally dies out. They don't last forever, and Sony claims it will last 3 years. Buy a JBL or other product that DOES offer replacement batteries. Other than this MAJOR problem, the speaker sounds great.

Terrible sound. Have to agree with other low ratings. Bass button actually makes this speaker worse. Sounds distorted and flat. SRS-X33 was way better and didn't have nor need a bass boost button. Sorry Sony, had to take this one back. I see you took the SRS-X33 off the shelf and updated with a new model and yes, another bass boost button. Please leave we'll enough alone.
