I was looking at jbl speaker the one with lights when i went to best buy Then i took a look at the bose the one with wifi conection but its not portable then i saw this sony speaker the sound was good and loud and the extra bass button makes it even better easy to connect between devices and the battery last long in every charge its worth the money i pay for it

This Is one of the best Speakers made by Sony .This Speaker is water-resistant and has one-touch EXTRA BASS button which will provide Just Great Sound and it is really easy to use !

I originally was going to replace my JBL Charge 2, but the store only had one color...thank goodness! The lack of color selection made me look at other items and this Sony is a great speaker. Deeper bass an overall better sound. Longer battery life too.

Agree with the review, power backup is of more than 24 hrs and sound quality is awesome

I love my speaker! It has a great base sound and I use it everyday. Even the charge lasts a long time!

When it comes to sound, Sony has been at the absolute kingpin of it. This device is totally an amazing product: Pros: 1. Extreme authentic sound. 2. Dedicated extra bass switch gives an amazing sound to heavy metal/rock songs. 3. Good audio connectivity range. 4. Great battery life. Can go well over 24 hours in one go with 40% volume. Cons: 1. Legacy charging port: Does not use micro usb or type c charging. The proprietary cord is what that we can use. If this is damaged, it is very difficult to get one. (Virtually impossible). 2. No carrying case: It would have been better if sony gave a carrying case to keep this. Sadly there is none, 3. The rubber material outside is prone to gathering dust and scratches. The device looks old and weary in due course of time. This is truly an underrated product outclassing other top leaders in bluetooth market with absolute ease. I would certainly recommend it and I have been suing this daily for over a year and a half now.

Water resistant? Yes, but I didn't and don't require anything I would submerge, carry in the rain, or go swimming with either. I needed something I could listen to quality tunes of my choice in various parts of my home without sounding tinny, hollow, underpowered, and give me that vibe music has to offer. Battery life is more than adequate for me as I listen to music for the better part of my day at home. The range between my phone and speaker works well throughout my three bedroom home. Initial pairing is quick and connections afterward are also quick with no drops for me. The design is pleasing and fits in well throughout the home without looking like a chunky toy. Rear access door for charging is slightly odd but recharging isn't too often and I can certainly live with it as it functions as needed. Slightly hefty feel to it, but like I said, I needed a quality speaker to move about my home and it does quite well for a fair price. I like it and am happy with the purchase.

This little Bluetooth speaker has it all... great sound quality, not expensive at all, has that extra bass option, extremely portable and as if that's not good enough... I can listen to it at it's highest volume capacity for 24 hours straight on a fully charged battery!!! Yeah, that little speaker is a beast!! And I take it with me everywhere...in my purse! Literally a bang for your buck!! Oh...and believe me, you'd never expect such little speaker to sound as loud as it does...amazing! #luvit!

I was very surprised on how loud and how much bass this speaker had for its size and its price tag. Originally i was going to buy a Beats Pill + but when i heard this sony speaker on display at best buy it was an automatic win. To be straight with you guys i am a BIG Klipsch fan and would have prefered to have purchased the Klipsch Groove Portable Bluetooth Speaker but since BestBuy didnt have it on display and only available online, i bought the sony speaker and i have No regrets. I actually bought it for my brother in law, and i got to mess with it and fully charge it before sending it to him. It sounds fantastic with hiphop music and Alternative Rock, i cant speak much for metal music as i dont listen to rock that is that heavy lol. It definetely shines with modern Jazz and Acoustic music. If i had something to complaint about it would be the lack of color choice. I would have preffered a solid black version but blue was the only color available and to be honest it didnt bother me or my brother in law either. I am happy he liked it as much as i did.

The sound it great! You can have bass or remove bass. Pairing it is as easy as presssing a button, speakers bleeps and your connected. It's real loud and still clear. I carry it all over my home with ease. My wife and I are planning to buy another speaker to pair them and have an even greater sound!!!

Excellent sound, was loud and clear with great bass even after I turned the extra bass off, battery lasts really long before I have to recharge it, and I love the portability! I want to buy a second one to amplify the volume for backyard get-togethers....great product for the price.

The speaker is simply awesome. I loved this speaker so much I purchased two of them and linked them together to play in quad stereo. I love that it's waterproof, you can link two at a time and play them together, it has great deep ((BASS)), it has very warm rich sounds and just simply the perfect size and it looks really cool in STEALTH BLACK. I read the reviews on the speaker and everyone raved about it. I also read a review that said "I only wish it had a pause button", it does… It's called your phone controls. SMH You can control all of your music including pause, play, stop, skip, forward and backwards simply by using the controls on your Bluetooth enabled devices such as your phone, play all of your music without any problem whatsoever. SONY definitely got this one right!

I have had these speakers for a year now and I am extremely happy with their quality. I use them with my Amazon Echo Dot since the Echo speakers are not very good. The Sony speakers have clear sound with a good bass. I originally thought that I would buy a Bose speaker, but I listened to the various options at the Best Buy store and I liked the sound of the Sony the best. Very happy with my purchase!

This device was purchased for me as a gift by one of my children. I could not be happier. The small size makes it exceptionally portable, but the sound is that of a device much larger. It's really good for outdoor BBQ by the pool, and we do a lot of that. I like the rubber "legs" at the bottom. They grip nicely so I don't worry about the device slipping. The other night I used it to play soft music while falling asleep. I have yet to drain the battery, it seems to have several hours of life. If you're looking for a booming bass like one would get from a subwoofer, you're not going to get that from this unit. But it had a decent bass response and the sound quality is very good. This is one of my favorite gifts in a long time.

This little Bluetooth speaker provides two things that should make any audiophile happy; amazing sound, and a seriously long lasting battery. First, the speaker is way louder than you'd think it could be. It also has a base-boost button that gives it killer sound when listening to music, but can be shut off when the music you're listening to doesn't call for it, or if you listening to something like a podcast. Second, the battery lasts a LONG time. I've not tried listening to it over a 24 hour period as the documentation states, but I have listened to it probaby 10 times for an hour at a time, and it shows no signs of needing a recharge yet; still loud, and still thumping. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a top-notch portable speaker!
