Customers recognize the XB70BT Extra Bass Wireless In-Ear Headphones as having excellent sound quality, particularly the bass, and a long battery life. Many also appreciate the lightweight and comfortable design, making them easy to wear. However, some users experienced issues with the fit and found the neckband design to be less than ideal. A few also noted that the volume could be improved.

I like everything in these headphones except the format. I was spoiled by the LG Tone retractable format, but their newer models' sound sucks for a $200 headphones set, so I moved on to these much less expensive ones. Sound is pretty good, battery is decent and I can sleep with them on, that's what I was looking for the most. I glued tiny neodinium magnets both, to the band and the end furthest from the drivers magnet, right where the wire entrers the driver and it works great keeping the whole thing around my neck when I'm not using them.

Pros
Just as comfortable as a necklace with flexible band around neck
Multiple earpieces
Earpieces stay in place well without discomfort
Good battery life
Simple voice announcements for status
Universal Micro USB charging port
Stays in place well using cord clasp
Mids tones are very good
NFC charging is extremely easy
Cons
Bass tones are too strong
Highs tones are too weak
Control buttons are poorly differentiated using touch
Clasp to hold around your neck could be easier to use
For years, I have stuck with traditional headphones because the wireless headphones I have seen have either had rigid parts that hang around your neck or the overall music quality just didn’t justify the change. I just dealt with the cords getting tangled and regularly snagged on clothing as I moved around. About twice a year I would have to get a new set as they would usually get destroyed by those shortcomings.
I finally decided to take the plunge and go wireless with the Sony XB70BT headphones and couldn’t be happier. I have quickly forgotten how often my cord would get snagged or tangled and I just enjoy using them. They have a soft, flexible rubber band that goes around your neck and conforms much like a necklace except without the cold shock of metal. In fact, sometimes I have forgotten I was wearing them for a short period.
If you want headphones for exercise but don’t like the kind that use the extra piece to grab onto your earlobe to stay in place these might be for you. I wouldn’t do gymnastics with them but they should work great for most regular exercises. To make sure they stay in place, there is a small slotted piece on the wire of one earbud that you push the other earbud wire in. This allows it to wrap around your neck and stay in place much like a tight necklace. It does a good job of staying in place but a slight redesign would be helpful as pushing a flexible wire into the tight slot can be a test in patience. Once in, it works well and keeps things secure. A small addition that would be helpful is if there was a way to store the earbuds when not in use but the headset was still around your neck. The buttons can be used without looking. It might take a little time to adjust as the tiny raised sections on each are a bit difficult to tell apart.
The first time you pair the headset with your phone you will get to take advantage of an easily overlooked but extremely helpful feature. If your phone supports NFC, just tap the side of the headphones with the NFC logo. You phone will simply ask if you want to pair, you tap Yes, and you are done. No codes or any other work. Very simple. If you need to switch devices, just press and hold the power button until it says “Bluetooth Pairing” and tap the logo with your phone or NFC capable device you are done.
Headphones that speak might sound a little strange but this one is done thoughtfully. When you turn them on, off, activate pairing, or certain other options the headphones will say in plain English what they are doing. If you are from England you would say it speaks in “proper English” I suppose. The voice is only used for operations where more information is helpful. Regular changes in volume and track skips are either a tone or just the action. You’ll only here speech when something more than a tone is helpful. Overall, it’s a nice touch that just makes them feel a bit more refined.
The big question is how do they sound. For speech, everyone I have spoken to has not even noticed that I am using a headset. The microphone seems to work just as well as the one built into my phone. When listening to music I wouldn’t say these are top of the line but considering you can spend over $100 on corded headphones expectations must be kept in line. They sound is very good for most music. An equalizer would be great but phones don’t general offer an equalizer for Bluetooth devices. Considering sound quality for music, each person of course has their own sound preferences but I would describe the sound as a slightly muddy but not unpleasant. With weak highs, the bass seems a bit too heavy. Midtones are excellent. Of course, this is all very subjective and this may suit you just perfectly. Keep in mind we are talking about compressed Bluetooth audio anyway. Don’t expect to hear every nuance of your favorite classical music through this set. Hopefully my description will help you decide if the sound properties suit you.
Overall I have been extremely happy with my foray into wireless headphones to the point I am not sure I will ever go back for regular use. I will probably always have a set of wired for at home when sitting still but for all other uses, the Sony XB70BT headphones do a respectable job for the money.

These wireless earbuds have instantly become my preferred way to listen to Netflix, audiobooks, podcasts, or other media when using my phone or tablet.
The buds come nicely packaged with a quick start guide, extra covers for the earbuds, and a USB charging cable. No wall adaptor is provided, but these will charge just fine through any USB port or your existing micro USB phone charger. Initial charge time is about 2.5 hours, but after that I've found they charge in under 2 hours.
Construction involves a soft, flexible, comfortable rubber strap which connects two small housings for the battery and electronics. These are quite light. The one on the left side also includes a volume control and a power button which doubles as a shortcut to pause/resume media or to answer phone calls (yes - there is an integrated microphone for calls). I found the buds themselves to be comfortable and the rubber strap supports the weight, keeping them comfortable for hours of listening.
And you really can listen for hours. I found I was able to watch several hours of Netflix and listen to an hour of audiobooks on a single charge with battery to spare. Listening for an evening and then a 2 hour flight the next day did not deplete the battery.
The audio itself is routed via the Bluetooth A2DP standard which supports relatively high bitrate stereo audio. I say relatively because while A2DP is far superior to a regular hands-free Bluetooth headset, it's still not truly high fidelity. The quality of the sound therefore is constrained by the limitations of the A2DP protocol. There is also a faint but noticeable hiss when the connection is first made, although this quickly fades to the background as the audio starts to play. All this said, the listening experience is enjoyable. There is strong base from these little drivers and smooth, clear higher frequencies despite all the filtering going on to deal with the less than stellar signal source. I tested the buds with music (both classical and rock), audio books, and video content and found all to sound good considering the limitations of the technology.
I tried the set with my Samsung Galaxy S7 phone and my Surface Pro 4 Windows 10 tablet. Both paired instantly and worked flawlessly. Volume was adequate even for airplane use and, while there is no active noise cancellation, the buds provide good noise isolation. I was also pleased to see that the system could stay paired to multiple devices. All I needed to do was reconnect from the BT settings on each device and they joined up without the need to go back through the pairing process.
All in all I'm very happy with this setup. If you're an audiophile music lover, the limitations of Bluetooth A2DP will likely leave you disappointed, but for casual music and other content with a secure, comfortable fit, long battery life, and great compatibility, these are hard to beat at this price point.

All Sony audio products I have ever owned have been solid and these wireless headphones are no exception.
Audio quality was very good, but not the best I have heard. You would have to pay more for the best audio quality. But at this price point (and these have already gone on sale for Black Friday week), you can't go wrong. Bass was very heavy, as advertised. You will definitely want to take that into account before purchasing these. If you like bass, you will like these headphones
With ear buds I am always worried about stability. How easily will they fall out? After using these a few times, it took quite a bit of jostling for them to fall out. Moderate activity will not be a problem, but I do not recommend jogging in them. There are 4 varying sizes included in the package so you will surely find a size that works best for you.
These headphones provide verbal prompts telling you when it is in pairing mode and when you are powering them on and off. I would have liked to have seen it provide battery life updates as well, like similar products do.
Overall these are a good value and I would recommend them to anyone looking for basic use bluetooth headphones. Just don't plan to use them for athletic activities.

Pros
Very good sound
Volume-gets loud enough
Comfortable-good ear fit
Nice bass
Cons
Deducted one star due to the somewhat weird design: The ear phones hang pretty low when in use and no thought was given to magnets or other method to secure them out of the way when not in the ears.
I like this headset and thought at first I would return it. I've tried a number of around the ear headphones all of the them move around and in some cases to too tight around the neck, including the new Bose noise cancelling unit.
In short this headset are two earbuds connected with a 17" rubber strap. The headset would be unbearable without the clip that can be used to clip the dangling wires together.
I slide the clip up close to my neck and wear this almost like a choker necklace. I keep it this way even when listening to music. The rubber strap makes this a comfortable option.
The sound is very good and like others have noted, the bass is very good.

These are exactly what I was looking for in earbuds that are comfortable and have heavy bass. They don't fall out. Earbuds stay very secure in the ear. But I wouldn't recommend for a lot of activities because of the neckband. It's a flexible rubber neckband and tends to slide and unbalance. Gets kind of annoying if you're running. Battery life with continuous use is probably about 6 hours. But overall is a quality headphone. Would definitely recommend

I was looking for a set of wireless headphones to use on the go that would have good sound, battery that lasts more than 2 hours, and can stay on while being active.
Sound: They sound good, definitely more so for modern music, good bass but not overwhelming, nice mids and high. They don't have the depth that some higher end headphones would have, but you're also not paying $100+ for them so would say they are good for the money.
Battery: Lasts a lot longer than I thought it would. My first set, almost a year in, would still hold at least 6-8 hours of actual playtime with a good amount of standby time in that as well. Recharge is pretty quick too.
Connectivity: They are really easy to pair, but they do have a tendency to sometimes skip a little bit. It's neither here nor there, but it gets annoying at times. Definitely not enough to be a deal-breaker though.
Comfort: They have a couple different size buds that come with, and they actually manage to stay in the ear much better than I thought, even when moving around a lot and quickly. The only complaint is the part that hangs around the neck doesn't like to stay put and so you have to keep correcting/adjusting it if you're doing a lot of quick actions.
Overall, fantastic headphones for the money. You can definitely find some better, and there are a few issues, but nothing that would stop me from getting another set.

These have great sound quality and minimizes background noises well. They're also comfortable and sit well around the back of the neck. They pair very quickly via bluetooth. Another thing I really like is the fact that it doesn't take long to charge and has a good battery life.
I'm a little concerned about the sweating when I exercise. A couple times one of the plugs came out while running.

I bought both the Samsung 60-6033-05-XP which are their sounds cancelling headphones and these headphones to try to see which were better.
After having my brother and myself listen to both pairs on the same sound over and over to compare them, we came up with this.
Samsung has some interesting features when it comes to their headphones; such as their noise cancelling (both of us think it doesn't work to well), their design, comfortably, and button layout.
Sony has better sound quality, sound balance, base, flexibility, microphone, batter life, and at the time, price.
Now both headphones are wireless which is why i was looking at them and trying them. After having them both for more than 2 days of trials, we have decided that Sony is the winner all around. At least that is because it fit my lifestyle while working, traveling, and having that convenient water resistance.

First the bad: the way this is weighted, with the two largest mass concentrations between the strap and ear bud wires, lends itself to shifting left-or-right based on what you are doing. If you're just sitting there listening to music, no big deal; however, when working out, the stupid thing will shift at the worst possible time based on your movement.
Now the good: It was run through a complete wash cycle and still works perfectly. Great sound before and after being washed. The base? Let's just say it would be a 14 on the pH scale.

These bluetooth buds have a great sound and lots of low end to them. The design however was not as inspired. It looks like it was the product of a night of Fetuccini indigestion induced noodle nightmares! It flops around your neck and flops as you walk , jog or dance.
Great if you're lounging around and listening to your favorite tunes but any spirited activity will feel like you have a long heavy noodle flogging you. Still, it's the best sounding noodle out there!
