easy to use, pairs right away, battery life is great.
Just works! I was concerned about the size of the ear wrap arounds when I first saw them, but when they are on the fit very nicely.
Sony provides smaller fittings for your ears which I needed.
Sound quality is what you would expect from a sony product

Great choice for fans of in-ear headphones

In-ear headphones are my preferred style, and although there are many on the market, it can be hard to find a truly good pair. My favorite wired pair are the JVC HA-FX55 that I have had for over 7 years -- like these Sonys, they have silicone tips that isolate (not cancel) surrounding noise and help the headphones stay in place. The sound quality on the JVCs is outstanding, rivaling many over-the-ear sets.
I wanted to go wireless primarily for convenience when working out, and I was a bit skeptical of these Sonys, at least until I read the reviews. Let me get to the point: The sound quality is nearly the equal of my beloved JVCs, and the clarity and dynamic range compare well to using Bluetooth with my Mazda 3's 9-speaker Bose system.
You need to choose the right size of silicone tips -- too small and the soundstage is diminished (especially the bass) while exterior sounds can creep in. Once you find the right size for you, insert the earphones properly, snug up the cord on the back of the neck, start listening, and get ready to be impressed! My primary music device is my iPhone 6 with Apple Music -- if you want to run a test, try the first 2.5 minutes of Pink Floyd's "Time" or the Record Company's "On the Move." I'm sure the fact that Sony builds in support for Apple's AAC codec helps significantly.
After several weeks, the battery life is living up to Sony's claim of 7 hours, and the controls have become second nature for me to operate. They are very comfortable to wear, and it is great to be able to rinse off the perspiration after a long workout. I cannot speak to the ability to take phone calls, since I only intend to use these for music.

Bought these for my teenage son instead of some of the more expensive brands and he LOVES them. They remain snug to his ears even while bouncing around running or playing basketball. The sound quality is great and the added bass just improves the sound that much more.

Only worn them twice. Wanted some headphones to use while jogging-which I haven’t done yet. The only thing that’s weird is how they go over your ear. I was used to just the barrel being inserted so adjusting to how these fit. Sound is great they connect with my iPhone easily. I like the fact I can recharge with micro usb and don’t need any special adapters or plugs. Was told it will last 7hrs continuous. I haven’t gone that long yet but from what I’ve used should be sufficient for most normal use.

I've had these headphones for about 7 months now. The headphones themselves have great sound and in my opinion have great canceling noise. The Bluetooth is awesome as you can wear them and people hear me loud and clear. The downside from this product (at least the ones that we're manufactured when i bought them on 11/28/16) is the design quality. About 4 months in the power button to turn on/off the headphones broke (picture), figured it wasn't a big deal since i could just get a sharp object and poke it in to turn it on (a bit of a hassle) . After the 6th month however the power on stopped working overall, instead of the usual power on, it now turns on then off and if its not that it goes into pairing mode. They're no longer usable, I can maybe connect my Bluetooth for about 5 minutes and then they turn off. Sound and Bluetooth are great but product quality is my reason for two starts, after 7 months they're no longer usable.
PROS:
-Great sound
-Great noise cancellation
- Awesome Bluetooth for calls
-Good bass
CONS:
-Product Quality
-non-functional after 7 months

My frustration with PowerBeats was the audio sounded stuffy. The bass would let the vocals sound muffled. Sony Extra Bass gives you a lot of bass, but doesn't affect the vocals. They are comfortable to wear, even with my glasses on! Easy cable adjuster. I give this a 5-star review solely on the quality of music. I am not concerned with the quality of phone calls, it wasn't my main reason in buying this pair.

I recommend these headphones for a couple of reasons. One, the capability of being completely wireless at the gym. Two, they stay put during your workout. I have had other wireless buds in the past, which I wasnt overly thrilled with performance wise. Not only do I recommend them for the physical activity aspect, but the sound quality is phenomenal. Great base and noise cancellation.

After years of being out, I have to admit that this is my first bluetooth headset. With the audio jack out in the Iphone 7, I was left with no music when I am charging my phone (music is important for me to be awake at work during the graveyard shift)
After a week of use, I found this headset loud with enough bass to keep me going. A full charge lasts about 7-8 hours, enough to work my shift. Now, I have to get use to taking it off the car to charge it at home while I am off. There are times that I go to work without charge because of me not getting used to charging it yet. The cord kinda bothers me as it moves when I turn my head. The cord extender is a good feature but tends to slide after a while of use. Overall, I find this 4 stars because of the wire issue.

The bass is great as long as I wasn't sweating - then they would not fit as tight and sound tinny. Regardless, they're super comfortable and hold a great bluetooth signal - whether from my phone or watch. The cord could be a minor nuisance at times but wasn't super frustrating. Before trying these I tried the Motorola S9's (too tight and didn't last a year), the Jaybirds (they were so incredibly difficult to put in - I don't have time for that - I just want to put on a headset/earbuds and go). Great and simple controls for powering on/off, pairing, volume, and skipping tracks - all you need for working out.

These are great Bluetooth headphones. Easy to pair with my iphone 7 and the sound is phenomenal for wireless headphones. I listen to all kinds of music and the bass is amazing. The only issue I have is the little display on my phone that shows the battery charge image on the headphones appears to be inaccurate. Yesterday while using it showed about half a battery charge and after about an hour and a half it dropped to zero and shut off on me. Based on the information provided on this headphone its supposed to last 7 hours on a full charge. So half battery would be 3.5 hours but that was not the case.

Great pair of headphones for working out! I love the fact that they go down to 4hz. It really makes a difference and brings out a lot of the detail in songs that usually are lost. I didn't think I would, but I really like the over-the-ear design. They stay In-Place really well and do not move. They also fit my ears very well and are comfortable. The only negatives are that the battery life is not what I would call in the outstanding category. They do last however how long will they claim. Also I wish they were just a bit louder. Overall a great purchase!

Excellent sound, definitive bass, good sound blocking, much better overall sound and comfort compared to many of the higher priced models offered by other manufacturers. They stay in very well even during workouts at the gym and on cardio equipment.

My husband wanted something to fit over his ears so he can work out with them on and he absolutely loves them and uses them any chance he can get! Super comfortable, light, extremely easy to sync with his phone (Galaxy) and easy to put on. Connecting cord keeps from having to put them down and potentially loosing them if removal is needed during use.

Better than Powerbeats Wireless 3

I love these headphones! I have been through at least 5 other brands and models. These are seriously underrated! I went through 3 pairs of Dre Powerbeats Wireless 3, but they have a serious design flaw. The charging port is ALWAYS uncovered. If they are sweatproof, they really need to rethink the design. These are sweatproof, and have made it through 2 half marathons with battery life left to spare. I play my music off of my Apple Watch Series 2, and the music doesn't cut out. I love these headphones!
