I bought my Sony 75" 4K, HDR TV about a month ago, and I'm extremely happy with my purchase. The picture is bright with extreme color and resolution. I picked this TV over the comparable Samsung because of the amazing smooth motion feature that the Sony offered. The TV is super thin and very light. Some reviews mention visible back lighting, especially around the perimeter of the TV when a movie is meant to be completely dark. I've seen this a couple of times, but it wasn't that big of a deal to me.

Did a lot of research for a 4K 75" TV and was happy with my past purchase of a 65" HD TV 3D a little over a year ago and was impressed with the quality. The only thing keeping my rating it a 5 was the Lack of 3D. At this price point it should of been on this TV. Almost bought the 75" Samsung that was 4K and 3D for the same price. Could of had it with the Sony but that would have almost doubled the price. I did not buy the Samsung because the colors were not true to life like the Sony and did not see paying several hundred dollars to have the Samsung calibrated to get rid of the "candy colors" of the Samsung.

First off, it's BIG. Can't complain about a 75" TV. It's also slim, which cuts on weight. Wall mounted with no problem (other than the distinct lack of wall mounting instructions, but I figured it out). It has all kinds of cool Android related capabilities. We bought a new ROKU to go with it, but didn't need it and took the ROKU back. You don't need one with this set. Sound isn't great, but we connected to a sound system. Picture is great with the exception that there is light leaks into the black screen sometimes. Not really noticeable unless you are looking for it. All in all, it is a great set.

Bought it for the 4k experience. Demo mode is all I have been able to see 4k on thus far. Hoping to get more options soon.

This is an outstanding TV. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a top of the line TV. The picture is out of this world.

I read at least 100 reviews of this tv and the Samsung. This seemed to be the better of the two. The 4k picture is awesome.

The 75" Sony 4K television lives up to the advertising. Great color, sound, brightness and meets all of our expectations.

It is the perfect size tv for my room. The picture quality is amazing and all the options are incredible. Perfect choice!

So far this tv has exceed my expectations. For the price the tv looks excellent in my game room. I took off one star because it doesn't have 3D capabilities.

I really like the picture quality of this TV. You can absolutely tell the difference when comparing with regular HD TV.

Summary: If you expect all pixels to work, and have a perfect picture, don't go with Sony. They advise it is normal to have clusters of pixels that do not work, and will not warrant the quality of their product. Buy Samsung instead. After months of research and debating between Samsung and Sony for my 75" TV, I went with the Sony XBR850D based on the IPS screen for gaming. Initially I had a great experience with the TV, and would have given this a 5 star rating, even though I wish the TV was a bit brighter during daytime use. About 8 months after enjoying the TV, I notice a bright white cluster of pixels that was always present while I gamed. It was very annoying, considering this was a $2500 TV, but I had experienced stuck pixels with my Samsung TV, which would go away after a few minutes. I figured this was a similar case. A month later, the cluster had grown to 3. I contacted Sony to let them know the issue I was having, and received the typical troubleshooting advise, "Did you restart the TV, is your software up to date" I was then sent a troubleshooting guide noting that these were stuck pixels and this should go away after some time...... After my fourth call with the Sony team, I was sent to the second level of support. They requested pictures and wanted to make things right. After sending all the documentation, I was informed today that the TV is operating normally, and this is not an issue. Buyer Beware, if you expect a perfect picture from your $2500 TV, don't buy a Sony. They do not warranty any issues with pixels. Make sure you are comfortable with what Sony considers normal before you purchase. I do not plan to ever purchase a Sony again, and will be back with Samsung going forward, as I have never had issues with their TVs.

The picture is great. Matched up with a Sonos soundbar, sub and two "3s" - it makes for a great home theater experience

The TV's picture is ridiculously clear. Also the sound is great. I feel like I have a mini surround sound in the TV.
