Great picture, internet apps, and voice control remote are very nice, worth buying. The drawback to this TV is the DirectvReady built in feature. It's like having a Direct TV "mini" built into the TV. Getting it connected correctly took 2 trips from Direct TV installation contractors. Neither Direct or the contractors have much experience with their own system. When I did get it connected correctly, Direct TV wanted to bill me for another piece of equipment. It would be much easier to have a Directv 4k mini to connect the TV to a Direct system. When reading the requirements for 4k service from Direct TV, you must get a 4k DVR and a 4k mini, or get a 4k DVR and have a certified DirectvReady TV. Don't bother with that feature and have them bring the DVR and mini to connect the TV.

I bought this 75" for the living room in our new home. My previous TV was a 63" plasma. I had not owned a "smart" TV before so it's been fun getting familiar with all that it can do. The picture on this TV...sports, news, anything...is incredible and I say that not yet having watched an actual "4K" broadcast. My only complaint, and it is likely not a function of the TV but rather my cable provider - DirecTV. There is a significant delay (3-4 seconds) when changing channels. You can flip through the guide quickly, but once you select a new channel, the screen goes black, you wait, and finally a beautiful picture returns 3-4 seconds later.

I have a large great room, and needed a tv that I can see from the kitchen. This TV has a lot of cool features and looks great. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is it has a glare in my room from all of the windows.

Best picture on the planet. I love this TV and would never consider any other brand. Buddies are all very impressed by the picture quality and total lack of motion blur.

I really like the picture. I'm not a tv enthusiast but I must say out had a nice clear picture. The tv is easy to use. I don't use the voice remote except to show it off.

We're very pleased with the quality of the TV picture and all the smart features that accompany this set. Lots of fun exploring all it can do, and really love watching it!!

I purchased this TV today after visiting the Bestbuy stores multiple times and spending countless hours testing various brand of tvs & their models. From all of them, I & my family loved the Sony - XBR X850D Series 75" tv & with a great bargain price, it was a no brainer for us & we bought it. This is now our 'primary' tv in our house. The colors are very life like, the sound quality is good. But don't expect to have all ranges & depths of sound to be reproduced from them. I will tell you that its best to see the results for yourself rather than reading a review. I definitely would recommend this tv to anyone, we purchased a 5 years warranty too. Hope not to use it, but it's better to have when you make such a big purchase.

Easy to set up, great picture quality, connected to my sound bar effortlessly. Best Buy Rockaway, NJ store personnel (Ozzie of Sony: David of Best Buy) were awesome.

Got this on sale & it was a deal of the day. Huge!!! It's a nice looking tv for sure, had a small hiccup with an error message but then reset it to factory (even though it was new) and haven't had a problem since

I am still learning little things about tv. I have issues with so many things but all i cant blame on tv to be fair. My main complaint is the little the geek squad did to set up and teach me anything of tv, which free delivery and set up was included. Hardly any instructions included and little to find how to do that. I had to google the tv to find out how. If included how to's I didnt see them. I did eventually buy a new reciever due to my old yamaha one had no hdmi inputs. They had little paperwork as well but did give you a cd-rom to tell you all. was over 120 pages long and i do feel sony should of done the same. I have issues with tv internet now constantly having to be reset every time I turn off tv since software update was installed. I thought problem was solved with a very nice man from sony helping me for over 11/2 hrs but doing it again. As for tv, the pic is great and I dont have 4k even from comcast. I know this is a work in progress and not sorry I bought it but I am frustrated by the complexity of how electronics and computer technology have made things and that is how things are these days. I did review this tv and samsongs and i even paid more for this one. Hopefully the bugs can be worked out.

I looked at several 4K Ultra TVs and the Sony fit the bill. The picture quality is excellent. The colors are amazingly bright and clear, and the sound is excellent.

Purchased this TV as an open box item and currently have no issues. Did have a few hiccups when we returned home as a few vital components were missing; albeit, the sticker listing contents clearly stated "No missing parts". The Best Buy Television section and manager were very helpful and without having to commute another trip from Leesville to Baton Rouge, they had mailed the missing components at no extra charge. The TV is great, crisp picture, sufficient HDMI/component connections and a friendly interface. Thank you again to the Best Buy team of the Blue Bonnet Baton Rouge location.

We were looking for a large screen TV that we could also use as a computer monitor for our Home Schooling. I read several online reviews and noted that in this price range, this TV received the highest rating in this area. As computer monitor - it works great. Text is clear and easy to read and when watching videos - the picture is terrific. An added bonus is the built in Android Operating System. Since we have a PLEX server at home I usually use a device like a ROKU to stream to our TV's, but with this TV, I just had to install the PLEX App and it works great. Very happy with this purchase

Best TV ever!!! Great size for man-cave and best picture I have seen on any TV. Picture speed is awesome for fast action scenes or sports. Near life like.

So far the TV is great, the remote won't work with our home theater system though. We dislike using multiple remotes so have a Logitech which was a pain to program. Overall a very good set for the money.

Pros: Big! Good picture, good in bright light Cons: slow interface, sound sometimes cuts out after using HBO app and have to unplug TV to reset, some peripheral LED brightness during dark background.

Bought this tv on the recommendation of our salesman Jim. We had planned to buy a Samsung but when we saw that we could get an equivalent unit from Sony for much less, we decided to take a chance. While it took about two weeks to have the tv delivered, the delivery guys were great and got everything working. We've now had the set for about a month and we absolutely love it. The picture is amazing. We liked it so much that we got a 55 inch model for our bedroom.

First and foremost, this TV has an excellent picture. No dead pixels. I don't use the sound and smart tv functions at all because I mounted this TV on a wall, and use my home theater receiver and external speakers in our living room. I have delegated all smart TV functions to my AppleTV device. Sony is known to collect data of customer TV watching patterns without consent (google it) from their smart TVs, so I have turned off all network functions on the TV, even though we watch news, live sports, Jeopardy and kids cartoons exclusively. Other than that, I am very satisfied with the TV picture quality and it has been trouble free since purchase.

Love this TV, clean, clear picture, but with TVs these days, that's to be expected. Great apps, and the ability to search within the various apps (such as YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, etc.) using the microphone on the remote simply by pressing the mic button and speaking into it is a small, but unique addition. Had a bit of trouble figuring out the HDR settings to be able to play PlayStation games like Final Fantasy XV in full 4K HDR, but resolved with a quick search on the internet about how to set it and get the TV to recognize the signal. Overall, best TV I've owned.

Sony has always been the best in my view, but this 75 in 4k TV surpasses my expectations! I love the picture and the colors are so vivid. Great buy!
