Well built and excellent,screen, though the camera slftware is somewhat lacking

Excited to see a new Sony phone. It's a well made phone.

I like to like this new flagship phone from Sony but the wireless wouldn't connect when switching from LTE. To connect, I have to disconnect and connect again when I return home from outside. My iPhone does not have this issue

The screen on this phone is amazing! Finally they have a phone that's as slim as the z3+. I've upgraded from the XZ premium and don't regret a single thing. The audio is good enough to listen to when you're in the shower without Bluetoothing it to a separate speaker. 4k and HDR content looks incredible. Battery life is excellent, which was one of my concerns because of the OLED 4k HDR screen. Don't worry about how big it is because it's slender enough to be held without worrying about dropping it. Hopefully Sony will finally be able to ascend to the top of the cell phone ecosphere like it does with it's TV's, headphones, and cameras. Speaking of which, the camera on this phone is epic... Both in regards to pictures and video. There's a reason this phone is getting the attention it's getting.

Its not the original phone that I have the original one is all metal and heavier and the new phone is smaller also

I upgraded to this from the XZ1 and once again, Sony didn't disappoint me. Pros: - Screen looks sharp, and perfect for movies since it's in 21:9 ratio. For people who don't watch movies on their phone at all, this screen can also show a lot more content when browsing the internet. - Picture quality looks great from the triple camera set up. There's less digital noise compared to the XZ1. - Camera shutter button still exists! - Eye auto focus when taking pictures - Fingerprint reader is still located on the side of the phone. It's so convenient that I can unlock my phone while picking it up from a table. - Purple looks really nice - Even though the battery capacity seems small (3330mah), the phone can still last me for a day without charging. - One hand mode is available - I can pull down my notifications by swiping down in the middle of the screen instead of from the top (in home screen only) Cons: - No headphone jack - Sidesense is convenient but sometimes it's hard to tap or swipe on the right spot on the side of the screen - I wish the battery capacity can go a little bigger - Front cam could be better

This is a large screen phone that is easy to hold in your hand. The 21:9 aspect ratio makes it great for watching movies. The entire screen is used, plus it has no notches or hole punches in the screen. It is the only phone available with a 4K HDR OLED. It looks amazing! The phone is super fast for gaming and also does split screen multi tasking easily. I can have Youtube playing a video and a web browser open at the same time with no hiccups. The battery life is pretty good, and I can get through a whole day with normal usage.

My wife ordered me this phone from Best Buy when my last one started dying. The phone I had was from another manufacturer and I wasn't really a fan of it. The phone I had before that one was also a Sony, and it was the best phone I've ever had. As a matter of fact it still works and it's probably close to 10 years old. The Xperia 1 is great so far. Setup was easy for me but I'm a bit of a tech nerd. ***Please note that if you are putting the unlocked phone on the Verizon network you may have issues receiving text and voicemail, there is nothing wrong with your phone. You just need to contact Verizon customer service and tell them to DISABLE CDMA network function and then RE-ENABLE CDMA.*** After they do that be prepared to be bombed with all of your text messages and voicemail received during the changeover. It's a small price to pay for a great phone without all the bloatware that they implant in their phones. Buy with confidence and enjoy your new Sony!

Everything is amazing in rhis phone and the display is wooowwww beautiful cinema pro app is lovely super nice phone

Absolutely no complaints, I like the size better than the 5 which I also considered, it's only slightly bigger and makes the screen only better to enjoy. Audio works great with bluetooth, my first phone with no dedicated headphone plug, no regrets there. Actually I think the audio is better over bluetooth than via the adapter in the power port.

It's amazing. I do have OnePlus 7pro from May 2019, I would say, this Sony is the first Sony I have. It's amazing and easy to use. Front camera could be better, but the rest of is perfect phone. I do recommend this flagship device to everyone Thanks
