Upgraded from original Sony z1. I don't like apple nor trust Samsung products. My Z1 served me well for nearly 4 years so trusted Sony. The xz is very fast and responsive. Love the improvements to camera. Only knock I have is battery life is not great and pre-installed apps especially for a phone that is unlocked. The display is superb with colors popping with clarity. The lack of dedicated accessories is also drawback.

This is a premium phone without the premium price bump. Transferring everything from my old phone to this was done via Sony's app and it worked like a charm.

This unit was ordered online through the bestbuy.com website. I took my chances with the Xperia XZ because of Sony minimalist omnibalance design philosophy and its approach to avoid making drastic variations to it. Other manufacturers tend to fall for demanding consumers for variety so they can distinguish older models from newer ones. I wish however that minimalism didn't apply inside the device itself. Even though it could be the ultimate smartcamera regardless of platforms, it is just OK because the camera gets so hot it's a lifesaver when it shuts itself off; a trick I found helpful while at home is to put it in the freezer for few minutes or lay it flat on a damp cloth or (paper)towel. I can only use it for very short periods of time while others keep on filming, taking pictures and what not. Also the Android platform does consumes too much memory and storage, yet the only option for this market was a 3gb ram and 32gb internal storage. In theory it is supposed to be THE flagship model for others to copy from, but at the end of the day, the Xperia team was too cautious not to blow everyone else out of the water, crippling this series with all these limitations such as the missing fingerprint scanner, the heat, the memory, storage etc... Again in theory I'd recommend the latest premium in chrome mirror, perhaps it will help dissipate the heat better.

Very beautiful phone and great functional features, but the only downside is not including the fingerprint sensor like international version!!!!

This ohone has all the functiones i need, its still new, testing,and hopefully no issues to keep for a long time.. Love Sony phones

I picked up the phone at my local Best Buy store yesterday. First thing I noticed about the phone is the way it feels when I was holding it. The weight is just right and the metallic body gives the phone a very durable feel. I am an Android user (currently using both the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and a HTC One M8) and this phone definitely outclasses most Android phones out there in terms of design. The clean lines and perfect edges made the phone a truly remarkable piece of work.

This phone is superb. It's camera is awesome both front and selfie. Has 3gb RAM sufficient enough to run 10 apps without hanging. I love the phone. Moreover, it's splash proof

It was quite a change from Apple, but one that I don't regret. Big fan of the hi res audio. Stellar camera too. User interface is friendly and easy to use. It took some time to adjust, but I'm very satisfied with the purchase

had a Samsung, and moved to a sony this phone has a great camera works great and long lasting battery. battery lasts twice as long as the Samsung s5 running the same apps and email. lightweight and easy to set up

I really recommend this phone to those shopping for unlocked phones. Like most of Sony's products there is much attention to detail. For me (and this is completely personal taste) the only reason I switched to Android is because it was made by Sony. The battery is very great and lasts quite a long time and that's that I'm a heavy phone user. I went from 5 iPhone to Windows and now this phone and honestly I know I'm sticking with Sony phones for many years to come.

Pros : Excellent Camera, Excellent Battery. 30 Hours with 4 hours screen time.

I have been a big fan of Sony. This phone is so stable and well built compared to other Android phones in this price range. I got this for my wife.

This phone has a very stylish form and the it stands out from the rest of the phone currently on the market. Battery life is outstanding. It would be perfect if fingerprint sensor is a standard feature on this phone.

Overall solid premium android device, however, it lacks 4k video resolution and a fingerprint scanner. Despite these shortcomings, this is phone comes second place to the note 7 I previously owned.

I've had the phone for about one month and it has been awesome. Cámara is great in low light environments in comparison with the iPhone. The only problem I found was the speaker, great sound quality but the volume is not enough. Besides that no problem at all so far.

I like Sony products and really enjoyed the Ericsson line when Sony had them out, now the xperia line seems to be improving greatly, I like their water resistance, good design, great camera and very good performance

Good Camera Good Specification Ok Battery. Cons: After 7.1.1 Update battery does not stay long. Before Update i use to get 1.5 to 2 days battery after update only 14 to 18 hours. Camera is ok my Nexus 5x takes better pictures than this one. 4K Video Recording is joke. because we need use another app to Record 4K phone gets heat quickly while recording video in 4K. ISO 12800 is a false information.

absolutely great camera thus speed. won't disappoint much better than my Samsung Galaxy s7 video quality is superb battery could be a Lil better but I'm happy I went back with Sony

I am an all-time high Sony user for many years now, and device really disappointed me. The design is beautiful, but that's about it. It could not hold a charge for even half of a day, it ran hot a lot and it froze on me way to much for almost 700 dllr smartphone. And that's without mentioning the lack of fingerprint sensor support, returned it in less than a week to the best buy. Really disappointed by Sony, I was really looking forward to this phone.
