If you are looking for a compact phone this is the one to get. Super fast, feels good in the hand and best of all it is a non glass back phone, which means no finger prints.

This is the perfect size for a person that uses a cell phone, For a Phone, Texting, Hot Spot, and a very good Camera. I get very good battery life. Have two of these units, one I have had more than a year.

Sony XZ2 - promising but can't remove default apps

I really want to give this phone 4 stars. The 19MP camera is A-MA-ZING. I love the camera controls too - it feels like using a coompact camera because the volume buttons zoom and it has a shutter button. Brilliant. The screen quality is HD grade (oh, btw you can film 960fps 4K HDR video). It has IP68 water resistance. It supports USB-C, MicroSD expansion and runs Android Oreo 8. BUT... and this is the HUGE but SONY lets this phone down by having it come with a whole host of bloat/apps/skinz that you can't delete. SONY - I don't want AVG AntiVirus, I don't want your Xperian skin, I don't want Swiftkey as the default keyboard and not be able to change it. I don't I don't I don't. I also don't want Facebook installed and Amazon apps. Sony - why do you do this to us? Why do you make the phone try and install the Xperia Companion app on my computer? I don't mind the PlayStation app (so that's a positive). I want a clean Android experience. What I do love. The form factor is what got me excited. It's hard to find a nice small well spec'd Android phone from a quality brand. It's incredibly fast. The fingerprint sensor is fast. In the few days I have used it, battery life is INCREDIBLE. I have got a full day of active use out of the Xperia Compact without having to charge (and if I did, it supports USB C Fast Charging. I am using this is as my personal phone and because it's unlocked, I plan to use any SIM card when overseas to avoid roaming fees. ATTENTION SONY If SONY push a software update that lets you uninstall the default apps. I would give this phone a 4 or maybe even a 5 out of 5. I can live with the bloat as the Xperia XZ2 fills a need I have. But SONY don't ruin a great phone by forcing bad custom and 3rd party software on users.

One of the last COMPACT flagship cell phones! I own a total of 6-7 SONY XPERIA cell phones and bought this because SONY didn't release a COMPACT size with XZ3. Totally amazing cell AND easy to handle!

This is such a great phone. I've had it for more than two weeks and all I can say is "wow". The camera takes amazing 6 photos. Sony phones are truly under valued.

Best freaking mobile premium device! It's a bit fat, but small enough that I can use with one hand and even fit in my slim fit jeans! The LCD screen may not be as good as OLED or AMOLED, but at least you don't have to worry about burn-ins. Battery is good, but i do miss the Aux. headphone jack, i mean it could have fit easily as fat as the phone is. The camera is good but not as good as the Pixel 3. It works great with AT&T and T-Mobile, but be aware that you will not be able to use WiFi Calling as the phone is not sold by those carriers.

Sony Brings 4K HDR Camera to Xperia XZ2 Compact

It has been some time since I have used an Android based phone and it was the camera on the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact that brought me to consider Android once again. The phone boasts some significant capabilities, such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor / chipset as well as 4GB of memory and 64GB of storage. The performance of the phone will not disappoint and there is obviously an excellent selection of apps and games available for the device. I'm traveling internationally and have enjoyed using the camera to take pictures as I explore Finland. The specifications of the phone are impressive although the phone design does not live up to these specifications. The phone design does not reflect the premium capabilities of the phone. Sony could have focused a little more on the styling of the phone as that is just as important as the specifications of the phone for many people. Finally, I'd have to say that the fingerprint reader on the rear of the phone seemed somewhat difficult to get used to. Placing it on the front of the device would have been easier to use in my opinion, although this would have limited the size of the screen given that this is a compact phone design. If you're looking for an Android based phone with some serious capabilities, I'd definitely recommend looking at the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact.

Good size. Keyboard hard to use sometimes. I have to press harder for it to register. Also, tactic capability only works sometimes. The battery is pretty good. Not sure if it is just because my previous one was bad. I can go more than a day on a ful charge.
