In a land with oversized phones, this one is actually usable with one hand. Size is great, it's one of the more durable phones on the market, and it's a Sony. Meaning great screen and nice camera. I know it's on top of the industry, but it's really well rounded and perfect for me.

All the features of Samsung galaxy or I phone but much cheaper price

It's my favorite smartphone, fast, compact, hight resolution.

This was a replacement phone for my wife. She had a Xperia before and loved the phone. This was an Open Box item. The phone arrived quickly and was in excellent condition. The phone was in perfect condition, no evidence of any scratches or wear.

I had an iPhone prior to this. It is a great phone, but lacks done features I had come to rely on with my iPhone. It is also not compatible with the Verizon network, and that has been a challenge. Poor service on other networks where I live.

Above expectations. Using as media player and 2nd phone. Audio has improved over the years and is really noticeable. ONLY COMPLAINT is, like all Sony phones, no name brand accessories (cases, screen protector...)

I love the compact factor but it falls short in performance. It freezes sometimes, but only for a second, which can be a little annoying. Overall an OK smartphone

I love this phone. Everything is great -- except for the primary microphone has failed twice. When a phone fails in one of its primary duties--being able to talk to others--it is a big problem. The primary microphone (the one on the bottom) failed about 8 or 9 months in. After (too) lengthy troubleshooting, Sony concluded it was a valid warranty claim, and issued an RMA. I shipped it back, and after one month without my $800 high end phone and no functional communication from Sony, I finally received my repaired phone back. Devices malfunction. I understand that. But when a high end device from a major electronics manufacturer fails due to manufacturer defect under warranty, I should be sent a replacement--not have to go 30 days without my device. To make matters worse, the (second) microphone has failed again, now 15 months after purchase, and about 5 months after the first repair. Sony wants to take me through the troubleshooting process yet again, only so they can issue another RMA for another month long repair. No. That is unacceptable and shameful for one of the premier electronics manufacturers to treat a customer like this. I own a PS4 and multiple Sony cameras. I am a fan of Sony products. But I will never again purchase a Sony mobile device. The reliability is unacceptable, and their product support and customer service is shameful. Boo Sony.

I like it because it is small and has a SD card in which you store tons of pictures without paying for online storage, Dedicated button for camera is a plus. Unfortunately Sony is pretty slow with the updates, and it is impossible to configure for phone over wifi with T mobile USA. This is a loss. It is well built. It felt multiple time without breaking. Only recently I had to change the front screen because it felt flat on a rock 20 feet below while climbing in the mountains.

I got this phone to escape the growing phablet trend without compromising on performance. It has top of the line specs and it is very snappy. Best of all, it doesn't fall out of my short pockets and I can carry it around with little fuss.

Great phone from Sony. It works on GSM and CDMA. Unfortunately the screen is too small from my eyes. The screen is amazingly sharp and bright, just a bit too small for me

This is my first Sony phone and I love it. Way better than my galaxy s7. The battery life lasts longer than my s7 and it doesn't get hot while watching YouTube.

Its so hard nowadays to find a more compact device that doesnt gimp the device with lower end specs. It seems if you want the latest processors, best cameras and newest software you have to have a small table with you at all times. Not any more. This phone is great! Sony has had a design change, gone are the harsh edges and corners from the last few years and in comes this more rounded device. It feels great in the hand, though thicker than your usual phone, this helps with ergonomics as the curved back sits really well in your hand, it just feels right. The phone has a plastic back but it still feels quite premium, its not a finger print magnet and its not slippery. Around the front you have your screen and this year Sony have gone with the new 18:9 screen ratio, you get a bigger screen this year and its also FHD+ but the bonus is that ts no larger than last years model so worrying about the size is no issue. The Camera on the back is pretty impressive too. Its a new 19mp "Motion Eye" camera and not only does this offer some great looking photos, it also one ups the competition in the slow motion by allowing recording in 1080p instead of the 720p others do. It can also do a portrait mode via software and 4k recording. 5 axis stabilization is used on the rear camera as well as the front 5mp camera offering decent low light and non shaky pics. Photos and videos can be taken with HDR also. The screen is also HDR ready and can display HDR content which looks fantastic on this device, this is accompanied by stereo speakers which are quite loud if shallow. Now as mentioned up top, compact phones normally dont get the best internals but this one does. Packing in the newest, latest and greatest Snapdragon 845 with 4gb of ram means you will be able to run everything and anything on this device. The phone doesnt bog down or hiccup in use, its all smooth. For games it plays everything you throw at it with great frame rates. Overall Sony have made a great little device here and if you are looking for a smaller device with a 5" screen with all the bells and whistles then you have just found it.

It's not for me, but others might like it. I wanted to get a smaller phone, but this was just too small. The interface worked alright, but I didn't like the feel. The camera was also not what I expected. The color profile was strange. I ended up returning quite quick.

I tell my friends about my new phone nothing but great things. How much of an upgrade it has over my previous phones. It works great no problems.

I find the phone works very well for me it connects to my other devices easily and I am able to hear on it very well.
