Great game all around, fighting mechanics are balanced so it's a good feel for new and returning players. They did add a whole bunch of content for single player, so you will be busy for awhile if you're trying to complete this game. Character creation could have used a little more attention by the dev's, I feel like it's pretty bare bones as far as the clothing and accessories go. But I have seen some outstanding creations online, I guess the only limit is your imagination right. Multiplayer matches are fun, but it really depends on the connection strength. Also the Net Code is a little off but it really isn't much of a game changer, at least I haven't had any trouble with. Overall this game is Beautiful, Easy pick up game, and most importantly really Fun to play.

Great game, but the package arrived clearly opened/previously owned. Seals were broken and box was heavily worn in areas. Book had a small crease in the upper corner that looked to be a manufacturing defect. Steelcase and Sophitia figure looked to be undamaged, although her sword was loose in package as well. She's my favorite character in the series, and the major reason I picked up the collector's edition. Otherwise, it's an excellent fighting game, as others have stated. You do have to pony up for the season pass, which I find silly if you spend this much (albeit on clearance) you should get everything, season pass and all.

Got a good deal on this item as clearance... The problem was that the item's collector box was utterly destroyed in areas, was clearly opened (broken seals, open game)... Luckily, the syatue was fine... This was not sold as a damaged or open item... I'm upset about the box, because, as a collector, I like to display the entire package...

The steelbook is excellent, the statue is of nice quality and the art book is great. Excellent game. Only thing that is missing here is the season pass.

Now first I will have to somewhat side with others about the non-inclusion of the season pass, but on the other hand this bundle is still not a bad buy and love the statue and the art book!! Only get this is you primarily care about the statue.

This review is based off of the Collector's edition itself. The base game is good but I am speaking about the quality of the contents in this edition. The Sophithia figure is extremely detailed and of good quality. However, her sword does not fit the best in her hand and can fall out easily if it is moved or bumped. The soundtrack is decent and the art book is very immersive into the characters and lore. Great purchase if you are a big SoulCalibur fan.

A great fighter, but the CE content can be better, idk why they don't include the season pass like other CE's. The Sophitia figure is legit and almost makes up for the no season pass. If season pass was included this would be a must buy for soulcalibur fans. Otherwise only buy if you ant the figure.

I've played all the SoulCalibur games and this one easily meets the mark. Still the same great gameplay with a few added additions this time around, it still feels like soul calibur though which is what really mattered to me. As for this edition... personally I would have rather had the statue be Ivy or Mitsrugi but that personal wish aside its beautifully done. The Steelbook looks great and even the box it all came in is nice.

The game is great. I would not recommend getting the collectors edition. The statues cute but very low quality. The collectors edition does not come with the season pass. This is a major failure. I can hardly believe they would not include the season pass with the collectors edition. Save yourself the trouble just get the game and skip this collectors edition.

I purchased this item after doing a price match from an online retailer. The item shipped out quickly and for free! You get the standard game, an art booklet, steel cover book as well, as well as a massive figurine! However, there is NO SEASON PASS, which if you were to pay full retail price on this item, would be a bit of a let down. If you enjoy the franchise, and like cool collectibles, by all means, go for it! Just know, if you'd like to expand into the DLC characters later on, you'll need to come out of pocket.

Only downside is they need to fix the servers and this doesn't come with the season pass

I am a big fan of the Soulcalibur series, and this latest entry does not disappoint. Excellent gameplay, decent story AND you get to play as Gerault! Definitely a fun time. :-)

The only problem with next gen fighters is that there are so many awesome titles to choose from. I was very excited to see SC VI come out just in time for the holidays.
