I had been using Bose earbuds and these are such an upgrade. There are some steps to get these up and running. You do really need the app, update the earbud software. There are MANY tips to choose from and the app software will guide you thru which buds work best and help you fit them in your ears. When they are in your ear the best the app will tell you (see the pic)The app will even optimize the sound for your hearing. I am big on bass and always try on headphones with MGK wild boy. If you have these in correctly. You will love them! These charge by usb c and wireless. I put these in the wireless charger built into my car and it mostly worked. I can get by with about 5 hours till I need to charge not the 7 advertised, maybe it’s the noise cancellation that brought it down from 7 hours. The noise cancellation worked too well in the office, I had to turn it off or go with 1 bud in. Could not hear my slack notifications. Sadly there is no lost headphone feature and never got the voice assistant to work.

    Near Perfect Headphones

It's nice when you have a set of headphones whose app is made only to control the headphones and actually has useful features to manage the headphones. So many want to data mine you it's ridiculous. You don't have to even sign up for an account with SoundCore. This by itself makes me rate the Anker's higher than I'd rank similar and more exspensive IEM's from other manufacturers. The Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro has all the features and quality I'd need from a set of headphones. Remarkable quality, great battery life, and active noice cancelling - which I need since these are going to be my house work headphones. I use the same track to test all my headphones to see if the low end destroys them. I pull out A Tribe Called Quest's Vibes and Stuff. The low bass groove just wrecks low quality headphones and leaves little to hear in the other ranges. Good to say the Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro mostly passed. At the loudest volume there was slight muddiness, but not enough to wreck the whole range. Now, one reason that it passed the test is because these headphones just don't get loud. The highest level is equivalent to 60-75% volume on some of my other headphones. Sure I never really use 100% on my other headphones, but having that extra oomph when you need it would have been a plus. Sometimes I use my ANC headphones to listen to an audiobook so I have to run the volume a little louder when I'm driving my daughter around and I let her control the radio. Even with ANC it just can't put enough sound out to filter out her music. The ANC isn't the best I've heard. It's very effective against static sounds but sounds that change pitch quickly it's just barely more useful than not having ANC. From what I can tell the ANC adds white noise - you can hear the buzz when it's quite - to override other buzzes. But if you talk to someone or slap a desk, the sound comes in slightly lower, but still audible. Background noises like car engines are tuned out perfectly. Turning blinkers are heard easily. So it's decent in the noise cancelling but there definitely are better. One other issue I have is with the case. It slides open. This is a no-no for something you carry in your pocket. If it gets caught in anything in your pocket or you grab it wrong the case pops right open when pulling it out. I've not dropped any of the headphones, thanks to the magnetic charger, but I do worry I'll lose one someday because of this. Just be mindful when you pull the case our of your pocket. Overall, I'm impressed at the sound quality and features, especially at the price point. There aren't many headphones I've seen that can pull off what Anker has without charging much more without any real improvements. I'll probably be heading to Best Buy soon to grab another pair for my daughter.

Loved these, they were my first pair of wireless earbuds, so no others to compare to, I had no complaints until nearly two years in, when they started occasionally failing to connect to my phone, and then months later staying connected to my phone while in their case.

The Ankor Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro are the best setup of earbuds I have experienced. Out the box update after downloading the Soundcore App and pairing with simple controls to customize for next track, play pause or ambient sound modes to choose from like indoor, outdoor or custom. As soon as I placed the earbuds in my ear my Spotify playlist starts playing with its weariing detection function from connected devices. The Liberty Air Pro 2 earbuds has amazing bass and clear audio. The Soundcore App even has a Tip Fit Test to make sure the eartips which comes in many sizes ranging from xxxs -xl are optimized in audio quality and noise cancelling. The Soundcore App also has HearID that creates a personalized sound profile for you along with favorite music genre to intergrate. What more can you ask for in a product and App. I am blown away by the many features and easy operation.

Personally, I didn't have very high expectations of these wireless headphones, however, using them has been a very good but not excellent experience. I will start from the unboxing since at the time I was about to take the headphones out of the box to put them in the case and load them for the first time, honestly, it was a bit difficult since they slipped and I had to use more force to be able to remove them from the box but I couldn't, in the end, I could do it, everything's fine. An app must be installed on the phone to be able to synchronize and use all the functions correctly, it is very simple and also the app has the basic functions with a fairly minimalist and simple interface. Regarding the sound, I consider that they have an outstanding quality in the 3 noise cancellation settings, but the only thing that makes me give it 4 stars is that the good quality of the audio is only perceived if you use both headphones, since when it is used only one, the sound quality lowers, I understand that only one is being used but there is really no comparison to using both. The headphones are easy to use and being able to customize the double tap functions pleases me, although it takes a bit of getting used to, but nothing out of the ordinary, yhe battery last a lot that is really good thing for me, some times I forget to charge my devices xd. In summary, I think they are a good alternative if you like to immerse yourself in music or whatever you enjoy listening to, cancel external noise and enjoy a good sound quality with a simple and nice app ... these headphones are for you, they are really worth the cost, I can recommend them!

The Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro earbuds are quite good, if the form factor works for you. Upon opening the box, you'll find the earbuds securely nestled in a plastic display. In fact, they were a bit too securely nestled and took a good bit of effort to remove. Once you get them out, put them in the charging case, connect the case to a charger (I simply placed it on a wireless charging pad), open the case to turn them on, download the app, then follow instructions in the app to pair the earbuds and install the software update. The process is fairly quick. The app allows you to set the earbuds to either noise canceling (which also leads to your richest sound field) or several ambient noise options. You can also pick a preset style for the music. The usual suspects are all there - rock, classical, bass-heavy, etc. I will say that if you set the earbuds for ambient sound, as I do when I wear them while walking the dog, you might want to choose the heavy bass setting. The sound is a lot weaker when in ambient mode. But the sound comes alive when you switch to noise canceling. I cannot overstate how much of a difference this makes; it is a much more significant difference than other earbuds I've used that have similar function. Caller clarity on the earbuds was tremendous on both ends. The Air 2 Pro buds do a fabulous job with noise canceling on calls and voices come across very cleanly. That's what 6 mics will do for you! "Very clean" is also a good way to describe the sound, overall. I was quite impressed with how clear these little guys are and what a good job they do of reproducing voice and music. There is no real distortion, and the sound is natural instead of artificial. Anker has done a beautiful job with the drivers in these earbuds, and they are a pleasure to listen to. My only gripe is the form factor. They are similar in style to another brand that has air and pod in the name. They are more comfortable than the competitor and come with a myriad of ear mold sizes (9 pairs total), Despite that, I could not quite get them to feel fully secure in my ears when I was moving rapidly. Then again, my ears are weird, and this form factor clearly works for a lot of people. Speaking of fitment, the app includes a test to see how securely each bud fits in your ear. It only takes about a minute per ear to check. My right ear was perfect from the start, but I never could get the fit to seal quite right in my left ear. Again, my ears are a little weird, but it was still really cool that Anker included this test feature. Battery life is also impressive. These little guys last a long time. And I like that they magnetically "lock" into place in the charging box. Anker has a reputation for quality sound devices at reasonable prices. The Liberty Air 2 Pro buds will in no way damage that reputation. These are high-quality buds for a lower price than you would expect. Well done, Anker!

Although the Liberty Air 2 Pro's are the "toothbrush head" form factor, the sound makes up for the awkward feel. I was blown away by the rich treble (never tinny) and sharp bass (never muddy) these buds put out. The packaging feels premium, including the NINE different silicone adaptors. No matter what size you need, it's in there. The charging case feels premium, it slides open instead of flipping up, and there is an external LED battery indicator. And the buds themselves feel premium, they stay put and the touch controls are not finicky. I did notice there is a warning they are not waterproof and to keep them dry at all times. Something to consider if you're planning a long sweaty workout--that actually surprised me. You'll need to download the Soundcore App to get the most out of these buds. There are three different noise cancelling modes depending on where you are using them---and it's not a gimmick, the three modes actually work. Set the right mode from the app and you'll see the difference. One thing that worked flawlessly was the pause when the right bud is removed. You CAN listen to a single bud, but if you have both in and remove one, the track stops and picks right back up when the bud is reinserted. If you're only listening to one bud, same thing happens when you remove it--pause, and picks up when replaced. I have found this function in other sets. The Bluetooth range is also notable. I walked outside to get the mail and left my phone on the kitchen counter at the back of the house, and these never missed a beat. Anker products have always been impressive for the price, but these ear buds really go above expectations. I would put them against my other premium brands any day.

These earbuds are excellent!! I’m a huge music nerd and sound quality means a lot to me. These sound amazing for the price. Super super crisp. I love how you can customize EQ levels so easily from the super user-friendly app. The noise cancellation feature is also super nice, especially when I go on walks. I can exercise and sweat in these too, although I take care to shake out water and dry them out in the open for a bit after. When I first got my pair, the right earbud wasn’t charging properly, but customer service was friendly and prompt and quickly sent me a replacement. The replacement is perfect! Also just because of my ear shape, I had to get used to the way the earbuds felt in my ears. At first they were a little uncomfortable and they still move around a little when I work out. But I’ve gotten used to it and would still 100000% recommend these awesome earbuds!

    LIFE CHANGING

A year ago I suffered a severe brain trauma. The past year has been one of the most difficult of my life as I continue to navigate the crazy world of Sensory Processing Disorder (severe enough to keep me from being able to walk if I don’t do my brain exercises and stay away from noisy places and lots of lights). After some research to help with my auditory processing, my husband found these for me to try (we tried many products, including Bose). These FAR surpassed them all. They are much more customizable and MUCH more comfortable than the Bose (those are enormous and don’t have as many settings - although better sound quality). The Liberty 2 have made it possible for me to have a “normal” life- I can shop, go to church, go out to eat, etc without needing to run home, cry, and bury my head in my blanket for relief. They are simply AMAZING!!!

I use earbuds for just about everything, from work and conference calls to runs on the treadmill. What I look for in a good pair of earbuds is a balance of noise cancellation, call quality, sound quality (music and voice), and also battery life between charges. Typically I've had to sacrifice one or more of those things and settle for earbuds that either sound good but have terrible battery life, or vice-versa. These earbuds rival others that cost 3-4x more and check every box on sound quality, usability, noise cancellation and absolutely killer battery life. Kudos to Anker - they are knocking it out of the park with these earbuds.

CONS: When listening to music with a lot of bass at high volume, the sound quality becomes distorted. PROS: Lightweight. Multiple earbud cover sizes included. Fast charging. Pairs easily to both Android & Apple products. Earbuds fit great & the overall sound quality is great! Definitely recommend!!

These are amazing ear buds! I'm kind of bias because I own a few Soundcore products and just like their other products these earbuds don't disappoint! They fit great and sound incredible. Once you download the app you can adjust the EQ settings to fit how you like to listen. It even has a hearing test called HearID that will personalize an EQ setting to your specific hearing ability. Bravo Soundcore you've done it again!

They look great and work great. The sound is amazing and the ANC works perfectly. Me and my wife both work from home and share an office space. I put on the Noise Cancelling option through the app and I can't hear a thing when my wife is teaching and I'm working as well. Also, the fact that they come with way more than 3 different size tips is great, more options for a perfect fit.

None of the eartips fit me

I think I would really like these headphones but, unfortunately, none of the 9 included eartips fit me. The reason for this is that all of these silicon eartips are 'shallow.' They don't go deep enough into my canal to stay secure. On top of that, the portion of the headphones that the eartip fits on to is so 'bulbous' that they, in a way, block or prevent the headphones from going deep enough into the canal. So, it's possible that even with longer eartips they still wouldn't be able to fit b/c of the bulbous nature of the headphones at the point of attachment. I'm left to try and find some 3rd party tips to see if that will help.

Pretty Good Earbuds - Not for small ears

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

So if you have smaller than average ears like me. I would not recommend these. Not the soft plastic tips but the bulb part of the earbud...is that the right word for that? The widest bit of plastic that sticks in your ear. That part is to big for my ears and causes some pain while wearing. That being said, if you have normal sized ears it would probably be fine. However, am able to get a good seal with them, pain or no pain. The sound is pretty decent. From the ears of an amateur listener. Not a lot of base by default but you can mess with the sound profile. The ANC is....okay. I can tell the difference but it doesn't block out a lot of sound. In my experience high pitched sound especially still punch right through. Like for example the sound of my mechanical keyboard right now. Even with music playing and ANC on I can still hear the clicks clearly. The app is pretty good. They look a bit chunky on me but again small ears so *shrug* The overall build quality seems good. I'll still probably end up swapping them for a different pair in the same price range just because if the size issue for me. Overall - pretty good for way less money than airpods. Don't buy them specifically for the ANC. And don't buy them if your ears are small.

I absolutely love these headphones. Great for noice cancelling, great clarity and sound - overall great headphones. The only downside I've found is they don't stay in my ear well. These earbuds sound amazing. Music and calls are very clear. My only problem, which is just something about my ears, is the earbuds won't stay in my ears. I tried all of the adapters and couldn't get any of them to work. I think my ears are a bit of an anomaly and I won't fault Anker for this. If you have regular size ear holes these should work great. I highly recommend these for listening to music and making calls. It was painful to return them because they sound so good.
