The Liberty Air 2's fit me better. The ANC could also use some improvement.

Not for everyone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had the Liberty Air 2 earbuds for about a year and really love them. I felt the only thing they were lacking was the ANC and audio pass-through offered by the Liberty Air 2 Pro so I decided to upgrade. Everything thing about the new earbuds is essentially identical to the earlier generation with the exception of the physical form of the main earbud body. It is more bulbous and bulker and slightly heavier and the sound channel where the rubber tip is attached is very slightly shorter. This made it impossible for me to insert the eartip far enough into my ear canal to get a good seal or physically secure the earbud to my ear so that it didn't feel like it was constantly slipping out. I tried many of the tips including removing my perfect fitting tips from my current earbuds and putting on the Pros but nothing worked. I was unable to get a good enough seal to allow me to provide an honest evaluation of the sound quality and ANC capabilities. The earbuds did quickly pair with both my Android phone and laptop. The Soundcore app for the Liberty Air 2 Pro downloaded without a problem and as soon as it detected the earbuds it automatically performed a firmware update. All the original features are available along with the capability to select or customize both the ANC and audio pass-through modes. I wish I was one of the fortunate users that could comfortably wear these newer buds since I love the current version and looked forward to the improvements. Unfortunately, these earbuds are not for everyone.

Great Earbuds

The noise canceling is also really cool and you can adjust the noise canceling using the Soundcore app. You can also do a fit test using the Soundcore app to make sure you’re getting a good seal for the noise canceling. Fit and finish is very nice and they seem very high quality. They sound quality is very nice for such a small package. Overall I am very happy with them

Great Sound, One Major Flaw

These are top notch when it comes to the sound. Great features like noise cancellation, ambient noises, etc. The one major flaw? For some reason, people cannot hear what I'm saying when I answer the phone with them. I can hear them clear as day, but not the other way around. I unfortunately didn't keep the receipt as I would've returned these because I believe they're a defective pair unfortunately. Otherwise, these would be an easy 5 stars.

If possible, please try the following steps to see if the issue persists:
-Try reducing the distance between your right earbud and your audio device, like having your audio device in your right pocket or right side.
-Delete (forget/ignore) the pairing records for the headphones (both Liberty & Liberty L) on your device (phone/tablet/etc.) and turn off the Bluetooth.
-Reset the earbuds using the following steps:
1.Place the earbuds into the charging case and remain the case open.
2.Press and hold the button on the case for 10 seconds until the earbud LED indicators flash red 3 times and then turn white.
-After the reset you will see the white light flashes quickly on the one earbud and the light flashes slowly on the other side, which means they pair together.
-Turn on the Bluetooth on your device again, search for the Liberty (not Liberty L) and pair the device to see if that worked.
-Please try with another device (phone/tablet/etc.) and see if the issue is the same.

not what I wanted from a pair of buds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i like the sound but they don't stay in my ears. can't do anything where i sweat or they will not stay in meaning i can't use them at work and they also don't stay in with a lot of movement so i can't use them for what i really wanted them for which is while riding my motorcycle. i still use them some but i wish i got a different kind that works for what i want them for.

Boo!!!

FunEar if I recall has better sound and linger battery at $75. These I just bought two weeks ago die faster. Sound quality is low at max. Best thing about it is the noise cancelling.

Way overpriced Junk

I bought from the Soundcore website (purely accidental) as I wanted a good working pair, figuring spending the extra dough would make the difference. NOPE. They are as poor as 2 cheaper pairs I bought from Amazon six months ago, and returned ASAP. The sound and connection is all crap. Way overpriced and overpackaged. I will look for something else.

I really really wanted them to be perfect… they didn’t fit me with any tip. Now before you say.. “it’s your ears” I have several pair.. SEVERAL.. and they all fit perfectly.. Onto sound.. the left constantly clicks, no matter the setting and volume.. if it’s on. It clicks.. My $39.00 Sony’s sound freaking amazing compared to these. So I’ll keep using them. Best of luck!

Don’t buy it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The first pair kept skipping, and although I know that it happens on steaming devices sometimes, this was also happening on songs that I have downloaded on my phone. Emailed CS and got a replacement. The replacement came from Amazon which I didn’t like at all. This replacement is also defective. Sometimes the right earbud not pair up with my phone, sometimes it’s the left. I have to reset the earbuds and forget the device on my phone and then pair up again to get it to work. This happens at least 2-3X a week and it’s one of the most frustrating things. Soundcore offered another replacement, claiming this wasn’t common but they have entire pages on their forums with customer with this same complaint. Apparently, there’s no fix, just temporary ways to reconnect your earbuds. I had an old anker set that lasted me YEARS. Disappointment doesn’t come close to what I feel for their newer stuff. Don’t purchase this particular brand unless you wanna spend a frustrating 10 minutes while you run to catch your train or bus trying to reconnect your headphones 2-3 times a week.

We noticed you have tried some troubleshooting before contacting us, and please let me know if you have tried these troubleshooting tips below and see if they are helpful:
- Delete (forget/ignore) the pairing records for the headphones on your device and turn off the Bluetooth.
- Reset the earbuds (Search UPqIjsCRfCk on search engine for the video).
1) Place the earbuds in the charging case and leave the cover open.
2) Press and hold the button on the case for 10 seconds until the LED indicators on the earbuds flash red 3 times and then turn white. Wait until the LED indicator on one of the earbuds flashes fast while the other flashes slowly. This confirms that the reset was successful and your earbuds can be connected normally.
- Turn on the Bluetooth on your device again, search for the Liberty Air 2 Pro and pair the device to see if that worked.

You can do better.

1. Confirm the charging case has power left (press the button on the case and note if an LED is illuminated). If the case LED does not light up, please charge the case first. Connect the case with the included USB-C cable and plug it into a USB power source to charge it for 2 hours.
2. Ensure all charging contact pins on the earbuds and charging case are completely clean and dry of sweat and water. You can also use cleaning alcohol for cleaning the contacts. Use a dry cloth to ensure the parts are clean and dry afterwards before using.
3. Please place the earbuds correctly into the charging case. When you put the earbuds back into the case, the first and third lights on the case flash twice to indicate both earbuds are charging normally. Charge the headphones for 1.5 hours until they are fully charged. While charging the LED on the earbuds is breathing. When the devices are full, the LEDs will turn off.

Replacing 2nd pair

- Turn up the volume of your phone to see if the issue persists.
- Restart your device and reset your headphones by the following steps:
① Place the earbuds into the charging case and remain the case open.
② Press and hold the button on the case for 10 seconds until the earbud LED indicators flash red 3 times and then turn white.
- Try to pair them with other devices to see if the issue persists.
- Try to clean the mic gently using some swabs with rubbing alcohol
- Use the regular phone call (not calling APP, VoIP, Messenger etc.) at a different quieter place to see if it makes any difference. How is it working there?
- Choose the Liberty Air 2 Pro on your phone if you pick up the call via the phone instead of the headset directly. Does it make a difference?

Defective earbuds
