Buttons do not work right out of the box

If possible, please try the following steps to see if the issue persists:
1. Confirm the charging case has power left (open the charging case lid to check if there is any indication on the LED).
2. Clean the charging pins with a dry cloth and an alcohol-based disinfectant. This is to ensure all charging contact pins on the earbuds and charging case are completely clean and dry of sweat and water. Then put the earbuds correctly into the case. When you put the earbuds back into the charging case, the first and third lights on the case will flash twice to indicate both earbuds are charging normally.
3. If they still do not turn on, put the earbuds back into the charging case and close the lid for 6 seconds, and try opening the lid again.
Please also reset the earbuds as the following steps to see if it is helpful:
1. Firstly try to forget the pairing records on your device and turn off the Bluetooth.
2. Reset the earbuds: Place the earbuds into the charging case and make sure they are being charged. Press and hold the button on both earbuds for 8 seconds until the LED indicators on the earbuds flash red for 3 times.
3. After the reset, take both earbuds out of the charging case to make sure they are successfully paired; you will see the white light flashes quickly on the one earbud and the light flashes slowly on the other side, which means they pair together.
4. Turn on the Bluetooth again and search for Soundcore Life and pair.

Does not work with video call software

Sadly, they did work at first, and the connection has slowly degraded, taking long enough to stop altogether that we are outside the return window. This fact needs to be posted in the product description!

Look somewhere else not this one!

Then the right earbud stopped working. I couldn’t return it because Best Buy has limited the return period to 15 days now. I never had any issues with my other earbuds. This time I thought I give it a try to this brand. Just wasted my money.

For the charging issue, we kindly ask you to try the following tips:
1-Make sure the charging case has enough power.
2-Try to use a terry cloth/cotton swab with a bit of alcohol to clean the contact pins both in the charging case and on earbuds to ensure a better connection.
3-Try using another charging cable to power the charging case.
Regarding the pairing or sound issue, please also try:
1- Turn off and turn on the Bluetooth device (such as a phone or computer..etc). Forget all the pairing records on your device and turn off the Bluetooth.
2- Reset the earbuds per the steps below.
*Place the earbuds into the charging case and make sure they are being charged.
*Press and hold the button on both earbuds for 8 seconds until the LED indicators on earbuds flash red for 3
times.
3- After the reset, take both earbuds out of the charging case to make sure they are successfully paired; you will see the white light flashes quickly on the one earbud, and the light flashes slowly on the other side, which means they pair together. Please wait for a few seconds to let the two earbuds pair together. This is a very important step.
4- Turn on the Bluetooth of the Bluetooth device again and search for earbuds and pair.

Highly do not recommend

I do not recommend them if you’re using the latest iPhone. Right one does not work. They say they work individually from each other. They do not. Sound is bad. The app is useless when attempting to adjust base.

I don't recommend these headset to any one they need to go back to the drawing board.

1-Use the default phone call and try another phone to see if it makes any difference.
2-Please make sure the audio output device chosen is the "Life Dot 2S" on the connected device and turn up the volume on your device and better to talk near the right earbud as it is the master earbud to ensure better mic quality.
3- Reset the earbuds per the steps below.
*Place the earbuds into the charging case and make sure they are being charged.
*Press and hold the button on both earbuds for 8 seconds. The LED indicators will flash red 3 times and then turn white.
4-Try testing your earbuds with a different Bluetooth device in a different environment to see if the problem still persists or not.

Awful

Perfect sounding headphones except for ear fitting

I could not get a comfortable fit inside my ear. The headphones come with different sizes of ear tips and ear wings, to find that perfect fit. The Anker - Soundcore Life Dot 2S True Wireless In-Ear Headphones - Black kept slipping out of my ears, no matter what what adjustments I made. As for the sound of the Anker - Soundcore Life Dot 2S True Wireless In-Ear Headphones - Black it is great. It has huge magnets inside producing a deep rich sound amplifying the output of all my devices. These headphones produce a stronger and purer sound than any of my other ear buds. They really sound like a quality over the head thick ear cushioned headset. Once I get the right tip and wing combination, they will be perfect.

Amazing Sound and Comfort
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Life Dot 2S earbuds are amazingly comfortable, and put out a sound quality high enough to rival competitors of 3 times the price. . The 8mm triple-layer dynamic drivers deliver 40% more bass and 100% more treble for an incredibly rich audio experience. The soundcore app has 22 preset EQ options, for increased bass, treble, and specific audio styles. The app even lets you save your own EQ customized preferences. Even without the bass boost on the bass is very evident in these buds, however once the bass boost EQ is selected it feels as if you are in a club with the bass pounding through you. All of the audio channels are very intense and surprisingly clear even at high volumes. Because of the intensity of these earbuds I found myself typically listening at a volume of 25 percent. I was only able to reach a volume of 80% without feeling like I was going to hurt my ears with the higher volume. The rubber eartips on these buds actually create a certain level of exterior noise cancelation as well. It doesn't completely block everything out, but it does a pretty good job at keeping most interfering noises out. The ear buds can even be used independently of each other to better keep track of what's going on around you( keeping one ear open), and extend your overall battery use of the buds. They are advertised for 40 hours of play, using the case every ten hours to charge the buds, before having to find an additional charging source ,ie. a wall or car charger. The case can even be charged though any wireless phone charging pad you might already have. If you are on a long trip and really need more than 40 hours of usage, you could try using just one bud at a time, hence doubling your total usage to 80 potential hours. Both buds can be used independently for music, movies or phone calls. Each bud has a button for the typical audio options on earbuds. You can change around the button assignments through the app, but can not add new or customized actions. The app also helps to keep track of the battery levels. The buds announce their battery status every time you put them on, but it is not the actual percentage, it's just a description of "high", "medium" and "low" type of alerts. The dot 2S comes with different size ear tips and wings to be able to accommodate virtually any ear size. Once the correct size is selected, the lightweight design and flexibility of the eartips and wings make these buds go unnoticed in your ear. The design also helps keep these in your ear, not once did it feel like they were going to fall out of my ear, no matter what I was doing. The Dot2S is also IPX-7 rated to protect the buds from sweat rain, or accidental submergence in water up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes. The charging case is small but still seems a lil bulkier than what I'd prefer. The case offers quick charging , just 10 minutes will get you 2 hours of playback. The case itself can be charged with either wireless charging pads or an USB C cable. Overall the sound quality and fit of these earbuds is simply amazing, especially when you consider the price.I still can't believe how good these earbuds sound. Even though they are not advertised to work with Dolby Atmos, the 3D sound capabilities of these earbuds is very similar. The directional audio is very precise.

Good Product

Looks are great. They fit nicely on me. The call reception and microphone functions are efficient. Battery life is more than decent. The app is a must and gives just so much flexibility to the set and to our listening pleasure. The set is waterproof as well that is a big big bonus if you need these on when jogging or doing any kind of work outside. Honestly, it is hard to be critical with this set. If the sound is not up to your liking, the app will go a long way to satisfy you. Highly recommended.

Ok headphones

But these were probably the most comfortable I have had in quite sometime. The sound quality was ok at low to moderate listening levels. There was some trouble pairing them up to IPhone 12 Pro. But all in all they were ok.

On the plus side, the are very light and fit very comfortably with no fatigue. They have a nice solid charging case. The dual microphone provide good sound quality on calls. The push button control on each bud work nice and have a solid feel. Where I feel these buds fail a bit is in sound quality. They certainly don't sound horrible. But there is a definite lack of bass. Neither the audio controls on my phone or tablet did much to improve the sound. Also, the Soundcore app allows for a pretty good amount of presets & customization. And although this helps, I don't feel it helps enough. Overall they are not bad earbuds. And for the inexpensive price they are worth considering. So for that, I will recommend them, just as long as you are not expecting world class sound.

Fantastic, but sometimes one bud disconnects

Seems the newer cheap earbuds have caught up to older high end ones. The passive noise cancellation is amazing. Worth mentioning that sometimes only one bud connects for some reason. I put them back in the case, hold in the each earbud button for seven seconds. Light flashes, memory is cleared, and I have to re-pair the BT and it's fixed. Nothing is perfect, but that doesn't change that these are a value
