I have been waiting for this product to release so I bought it as soon as I saw it is available. Overall, I am very pleased with this product since it does meet my expectation. Good job!
Setup (8/10)
Packaging is nice and presentable. Package fit contents well. Although bought it for myself, I believe it is nice to send it to my friends as a gift. Setup is really easy like most Soundcore devices.
Look and feel (10/10)
This is the most I like about Soundcore Frames. Looks good on me, not too clunky and it is very much like my normal glasses. Solid and very comfortable, I will get more styles soon. However, I notice that fitness is the key. So far standard size works well on me.
Charging and Playing Hours (9/10)
- Playing around 5 hours is good. Turning off the voice control will provide about 1.5 more hours. I like that.
- Charging is fast enough for my use. One hour will charge it fully.
Overall about Sound (9/10)
Music (7/10)
- I would describe the sound as if they are a really, really excellent and superior pair of headphones that you have sitting just off your ears. The equalizer presets all sound fairly similar to me with the Soundcore one being the best.
- Little Bass here but I compare with my friend’s Bose Frames and they are about the same. I don’t have much expectation for this though.
- Really good at low volumes – good balance, stereo effect, etc.
Calls(10/10)
- Really great in 95% of my using case, I hear it fine and the same with others.
- Only when the wind is really strong, the other side may hear about the noise.
- Compared with my other earphones, this feature ranks the best.
Sound Leakage(7/10)
- It has some leakage at higher volumes(60%+) – a person next to me could hear me.
- But I guess this kind of products is not a good one for some quite places or noisy places. In my most cases, it looks fine for me.
Controls and Gestures (9/10)
- The control could be customized as I like, really cool. No issue has been found so far.
- Voice control works well in general. Great for hands free
Again, I like this product very much for its convenience and cool. I would like to give other features a try and see how long it will last.

The soundcore frames are literally the best smart glasses.
The sound isnt the best because there is too much bleed and not enough directional speakers.
The battery life is second to none. I own rayban stories, razer anzu and bose frames.
I have prescription lenses and the interchangable frames are super handy if you dont have transitions.
I only gave 4 stars because this is actually my second pair. The first broke. The part where the arms connect to the frames broke off. But i didnt need new lenses because of modularity. (Clutch)
Get the geeksquad plan.

First of all, the design got a lot of attention that makes it unique as I can barely tell it is smart and has speakers-equipped temples due to its thin size. In addition, the swappable front by which temples can be attached to different glasses styles without needing to purchase a whole pair of Anker Frames Wander glasses by only detaching and attaching the current temples into new glasses. The sound quality is decent, as expected from thin temples where the four speakers are housed two speakers on each temple. What I like most is the touch control responsiveness on both temples, they are responsive, and my fingers got used to it very quickly, and they can easily be customized in the Anker Soundcore app on the smartphone in both app stores IOS and Android. Touch/ swipe controls can be mapped to double-tap to play/ pause or slide back and front to change audio volume or select the next/ previous track. Also, the local voice assistant does basic commands like Anser call or play or pause music without a need to connect to wifi. The wearing detection sensor works perfectly, and when glasses are taken off, the music pauses and resumes after glasses are worn again. Lenses are polarized and look high quality. I have a mid-size head, and they fit comfortably, and I had no trouble wearing them for hours. My only concern is the proprietary charging cable that magnetically snaps on both temples to charge. If the cable gets broken, the only way to buy one is from Anker since this unique and designed only for these particular glasses. I appreciate Anker for providing a protective case to keep the Soundcore Frames safe. I'm happy with my glasses and pleased by having no issues so far.

The Wander Open Ear Audio Glasses by Anker Soundcore are a real marvel of technology! The sound is great for most genres of music and even phone calls. “Eight simple commands” or you can choose options in the App to control everything the Soundcore Wander Frames can do. They also have a great fit too!
• The overall fit and feel is comfortable and sturdy. A rubber nose piece and a longer arm length (standard frame) fit nice and snug against my face. Attach the arms to the frame hinge until it locks into place. If you ever have the need to change out the frames, the Anker Soundcore arms can be removed and reattached with different combinations. It is the Anker Soundcore front frame (the Lenses) that you can change for a customizable fit. As far as the weight is concerned, the Soundcore Wander Frames are heavier and a little thicker than regular sunglasses but not all sunglasses can play music! When out walking, I had not trouble with the sunglasses slipping or discomfort even when sweating. The IPXA4 water resistant Soundcore Wander Frames have kept the sound on and the sunglasses from damage related to moisture.
• The Soundcore Wander lenses are dark to light starting from the top to the bottom. They provide more eye protection where it is needed most and a little bit lighter protection toward the bottom of the lens. Do you need more protection? Soundcore thinks you do! Shatter proof, scratch proof and polarized lenses round out the specs nicely. They also include a cleaning cloth and a carrying case.
• Make sure you download the Soundcore App! It makes the experience of these audio sunglasses that much better. With a Bluetooth enabled connection from my phone, I was able to pair the two up. It only took a few seconds and the Soundcore Wander Frames were up and playing music from my phone. Removing the frames will shut off the music, and eventually the power at 2 minutes. But taking them on and off for a short time, I never lost the Bluetooth connection.
• There are eight commands, that is it! Speak these simple commands for your desired music results: Stop Playing; Resume Playing; Next Song; Previous Song; Volume Up; Volume Down; Answer the Call; Reject the call. No need for any assistants like Siri or Alexa. This is an awesome feature!
• Within the App choose your device and sync with Bluetooth to your phone to make adjustments. An EQ for sound, firmware updates (I had one right away), control settings are all done in the App.
• When assigning the controls through the App, you have the choice tapping or sliding along either the right or left arm. Under “Functionality” you can choose between a swipe (front to back or back to front) on either arm, or a double tap on either arm. You can control calls, Volume, Previous/Next Song and Play/Pause. This only took a minute, is easy to setup and is very intuitive.
• There is even an EQ setting in the App. I choose the default “Signature Sound” because I liked the way the music sounded to my ears. If you want, you can customize your own EQ. There is also a “wearing calibration” in the App that automatically helps provide the best sound space when wearing the Soundcore Wander Frames. It only takes about 5 seconds and I think the music sounded better.
• The Sound is really good and much better than I expected. I listened to Spotify playlists and other genres of music on my phone. All things considered, the music that comes from these 4 speakers (2 each side in the arms) are positioned to surround your ears. In the App you can choose from an “OpenSurround” system that levels up from 1 to 7. This “OpenSurround” takes you from the stage to the rear of a concert like experience. I like the #4 setting, right in the center of it all. The sound is clear, full and is very listenable. I enjoyed the music as well as being able to take calls (two microphones) on the Soundcore Wander Frames!
• When charging the Soundcore Wander Frames, fold the arms in. Place the magnetic pill shaped connectors to the golden underside of the arm frames. There is a green light that will come on to let you know the frames are charging. If there is no light, you are all set with 5.5 hours of music or whatever you want to play.
I have really enjoyed my morning walks with the Anker Soundcore Frames Wander Open Ear Audio Glasses Headphones. They fill my ears with sound, don’t slip, and put a smile on my face. A true piece of modern technology, these Soundcore Wander Frames are pretty amazing!

Anker’s SoundCore Frames are part fashion statement, part Bluetooth audio, and part unabashed gadget. When I first saw them, and first started to use them, I was somewhat dubious of their value. But after a while, I fell in love with them. So what precipitated my amorous relationship with these secret agent level gadgets; read on!
I’ll start by saying the box they come in is quite stylish. You open it up to be presented with the frames and stems in separate boxes. The idea here is that you can separate the style from the device - and even switch out frames as it suits you. This is important, because my personal favorite use case is indoor use. Luckily Anker sells blue light blocking lenses for $50 more that you can swap out as necessary. You can build your own setup on Anker’s website - and buy additional frames. Also in the package is the charging cable, which uses magnets and two contacts on each frame for charging. It’s an excellent setup and makes it easy to top off. Besides that you’ll also find a handle little case with a magnetic clasp.
You connect the stems to the frame by simply pushing them in place. Instructions are clear that you need to place the SoundCore logos facing outwards. A little bit of charging later and you’ll be able to pair them. They automatically enter pairing mode, and pair just like any Bluetooth accessory. Each stem has 2 speakers and the right stem has 2 microphones. The speakers are positioned fore and aft of your earlobe with the front ones being the main contributors to audio. The Frames sport IPX4 water resistance, which should make them work for everything but the pool. They’re also made from a nice type of plastic called TR90, which is popular in eyewear. Obviously Anker did their homework here.
Once you get them connected, definitely download the SoundCore app, as it’ll help you update the firmware, turn on optimized audio options, and calibrate them to you. Especially interesting is the OpenSurround setting, which adds quite a bit of depth. I found the ‘3’ setting to be about right, as too much higher felt fake (it goes to7). The equalizer is also a good setting to tweak, as the SoundCore Signature is a good starting point, but I actually used the bass booster - which is unusual for my tastes, but it helps compensate for the lack thereof. One cool feature is that music will pause automatically if you take them off.
Now, as with any pair of headphones, I like to give a thought to audio quality. The SoundCore Frames are unique, in that they offer 0 noise isolation of any kind. These are literally speakers draped around your earlobe, so there are pros and cons. From a pure audio quality standpoint, even in quiet rooms, background noise can interfere with quality. Also, because the speaker elements are both small and away from your eardrum, the longer wavelengths (bass) dissipate before they hit your eardrums. That isn’t to say the bass isn’t present, in fact with bass boost they balance out ok for me. Most will find them lacking, but I’m satisfied for most genres with bass boost equalizer. Some bass frequencies are absolute trash though, so keep that in mind if you listen to bass heavy titles. Other sounds are quite satisfying. Mids/treble are clear and soft. There is a warmth and natural feeling being small speakers outside your ear canal. You can miss details but they aren’t fatiguing, which I find with the AirPods. If you want amazing fidelity go with open air headphones - same principle, but a much larger speaker suspended away from your head aimed directly at your ear. The Frames are a compromise that is quite unique and offer some of the same advantages. Volume is limited. Some environments these headphones will be next to unusable. Luckily, at their top volume they won’t damage hearing but they put up a good fight in noisy environments. Downside: at top volume the sound leakage is pretty bad. You’ll definitely want to adjust the volume down in quiet environments to avoid disturbing your coworkers.
One huge pro for me: I can be aware of my surroundings, so at work these are awesome. I don’t have to wear some silly headset or deal with the awkwardness of airpods in and out all day. I wore them during a few WebEx meetings for fun and giggles - but honestly it was a great way to do meetings. I did a few phone calls outside walking, and had excellent feedback on my audio quality. Wind noise was muted much better than other headphones I’ve used. Here the Frames shined, and here is their true value: a Bluetooth headset for those that don’t want earbuds or over the head headphones. It hit me having a conversation with my dad while waiting to pick up my daughter from school - these are really dang cool. Here I am talking to my dad and I don’t have an annoying earbud in, or holding my phone to my head, I’m just talking. When you are on a call they enter privacy mode automatically, although I don’t know if that was true with WebEx, but definitely for phone calls directly.
Battery life is about as stated - which is only 5.5h. This isn’t horrible, but definitely might leave you wanting an additional charging cable just in case. I’ve worn these glasses all day (and I have a relatively large head) well past the battery dying, and they have been super comfortable. Again props to Anker having properly designed glasses when making a sunglass wearable. The included Wanderer frames are oversized classic wayfarer style made of the same TR90 plastic. The lenses are polarized, so YMMV on their utility. I for one don’t have much love for polarized lenses due to the effects on different screen treatments. I have the blue light blockers on the way, which are the same wayfarer style, but slimmer and not sunglasses (and obviously aren’t polarized).
While I started to wear these with hesitation and to some degree I almost took these as a joke I am flabbergasted at their utility. I have kids, and the fact that I can enjoy soft music, fully interact with them when needed and hear my surroundings is great. Forget ‘transparency mode’ of other headphones/earbuds, these deliver a good enough experience for music, and a great experience for calls that are they worth trying. You can have the soundtrack to your life without disturbing others. They won’t replace your noise cancelling headphones on a plane or when dealing with a noisy environment, but in daily life they are actually pretty sleek. I highly recommend trying these - they have caveats, but also an amazing change in wearable technology. I can’t wait for my blue light blockers.

These sunglasses sound great for open ear audio and look nice! The best feature has got to be the interchangeable front frame, allowing you to change the look of the glasses without having to purchase an entirely new pair, just a new front frame at a pretty reasonable price! The build quality is excellent, setup is incredibly easy on both Android and iPhone, but the balance of the glasses is amazing! They are able to deliver great sound without being too bulky on the front, keeping them securely around your ears. The back of the arms is a little bulky, but that helps keep the glasses on your face. Overall, I would definitely recommend these as a solid contender against the other premium audio sunglasses on the market and you can customize after you buy, making these an incredible value!

By Anker Soundcore Frames Wander Open Ear Audio Glasses Headphones Black
Things keep improving in the wearable Bluetooth sound arena. We’ve long had lots of choices for in-ear devices which, for some of us, never really worked out too well because one or both of the buds would sometimes fall out of our ears, and even get lost at times.
Next came the over-the-ear devices which were an improvement over the buds for many of us, but still had problems with the ear fit. At least, when these fell out of our ears, we usually didn’t lose them.
Then came improved devices which attached to our glasses, followed by an over-the-shoulder device which was probably best suited for home and office use in order to avoid the inevitable questions and comments that were sure to follow when we wore them out in public.
Each of these devices has their good points, but they often cause problems or call attention to themselves. Now, finally, we have a device that we can wear in public without worrying about losing it or having folks asking, “What’s that thing on your shoulders?” or “What are those things on your glasses?”.
These Soundcore Frames not only look like normal sunglasses; they are, in fact, just that. And, they have polarized lenses for a nice viewing experience, as well as an IPX4 rating. Using Bluetooth, you can listen to your music while you work or exercise outside as well as make and receive phone calls from these sunglasses, which I did on my daily beach walks.
And, if you like to change styles, you can purchase additional interchangeable frames. They attach very easily to your existing audio temples to provide a new look.
You get started by attaching the audio temples (the stems of the glasses that go over your ears and along your temples) to the frames. Once assembled, pairing them via Bluetooth is a breeze.
Next, you should download the Soundcore app and use it to update your firmware before setting things up to your liking. You can choose between five custom EQs as well as edit and save multiple sound profiles.
Using these Soundcore Frames, I made multiple phone calls and played various types of music which showed that this device is well-suited for these tasks. Everyone I talked to on the phone said that I sounded very good, and their sound was crystal clear on my end, as well. Playing several music genres proved pleasant, too.
Playtime is listed at 5.5 hours. And with fast charging of only 10 minutes via the provided USB cable, you can get another 1.5 hours of playtime. A full charge takes about an hour.
A carrying case is included as is an 18-month parts and labor warranty.
Finally, for those who wear prescription glasses, it should be possible to have your optometrist insert prescription lenses in these frames. That’s certainly something I’m going to investigate. That should tell you that, for me, these Soundcore Frames are a real winner.

I have to admit, I was somewhat reluctant when I knew I was going to receive these Anker Soundcore Wander Frames. I didn’t know what to expect. Boy and I’m glad that I received them.
First off, I want to speak about what they are, sunglasses, and they are really good sunglasses. I drive a lot in my profession and have a pair of prescription sunglasses that do not compare to the Anker’s. They are lightweight, fit exceptionally well out of the box, and they look and feel great. The lenses are polarized and Anker’s website says these lenses block 99% of UVA/B rays, and if they were JUST sunglasses they would pass all of the required tests.
But, the amazing thing is, they are not just sunglasses, they are audio sunglasses. Anker has done a fantastic job of placing the four speakers in the “right” position on each ear. I downloaded the Soundcore App and it makes the process of personalizing these glasses fun. Pairing w/ my iPhone 12 was very easy and I had the glasses, “up and running” within minutes, its that simple.
As far as sound goes, as I said, Anker did a phenomenal job of placing the speakers in just the right place on the temple arms, which are so smooth and comfortable on your head and skin w/ the flexible hinges. The flexible hinges allow me to wear the glasses much longer than my prescription glasses that don’t have the flexible hinge feature. The music is clear and easy on the ears. To change the volume you simply say, volume up/down, its that simple. And if that were it, if these were just sunglasses that allow you to play music, again, they would pass the test.
But, they also allow you to answer calls. And to me that is the best thing about these Anker Soundcore’s. I can drive and talk and have both hands on the wheel. Since I have had these Soundcores I have yet to drop a call
Anker says the battery will last 5.5 hours of play time and I have found that to be very consistent. They provide the frames, WHICH, you can purchase others to suit your need, and Anker even has a virtual “try on” on their website to allow you to see what the other frames would look like before you purchase them. A cleaning cloth, case, temple arms, and charger are included. I have a USB charging port in my vehicle so when the 5.5 hours is up I simply charge them.
I would HIGHLY recommend these Anker Soundcore Frames, they are not a novelty, they do everything they claim they can do and do it with style and elegance.

These bluetooth audio glasses from Soundcore are very cool. I was afraid I might have a few issues with them - but the things I was most worried about have not been issues at all. First of all, they were very easy to set up. It only took a few minutes and I was able to listen to music or audiobooks from my phone or take a call. Some of the great features these glasses have are the smart voice control, being able to change out the frames, and the quality sound. One area that could use improvement is the case that came with it. There isn't room to store anything but the frames. It comes with a charging cord and a cloth to clean that glasses that it would be nice to be able to store them with the glasses.
I was worried that people would be able to hear my music when I wearing them - but if I'm not jamming out - it doesn't seem to be noticeable to anyone around me.
The glasses are stylish and I enjoy wearing them. I would recommend - especially if you love cool gadgets!

If you have been looking for smart glasses that finally get things right then look no further. These bad boys are great for calls, listening to music and look nice too. Its the perfect blend of the amazon echo with the razer smart glasses. Major difference is that you arent limited to Alexa like with the echo frames (you can use siri or google assistant) and although simple in execution, the simplicity of the spoken commands really make this a device that anyone can pick up and quickly integrate into their everyday life. Also unlike the Razer glasses these are comfortable and I forget I am wearing them at times. The most interesting aspect of these glasses is the ability to switch out the lenses in a simple manner. (you disconnect the front frame from the arms essentially). This interchangeable style allows for a lot of stylistic choices and makes the soundcore's just unique enough to stand out amongst the deluge of smart audio glasses we see today.

I am a big fan of Soundcore products, but this product falls short for one reason. The connection quality is spotty. The audio quality is good enough for what I use it for (audiobooks while walking). Very good soundstage. But for some reason, this device will lose connection unpredictably. I will also take calls using it, and the call quality is good. The size is too small for my head which is something I could live with if I were not feeling as though I am not getting the best sound quality as a result - only a concern for people with large heads like me. I also do not like the touch controls, they make it impossible to use with a hood (it's cold now). That means it's difficult to mute, pause, or answer a call with my phone being buried in my pocket - one physical pause/answer button would be useful if not too aesthetically difficult to implement. Battery life is acceptable, and app control is very good. Is a good product, just maybe does not fit my use case compared to others. I would recommend it for persons with smaller heads only, and for persons who can deal with connection issues.

These are comfortable and the sound is good although very quiet. I have asked people when wearing these if they can hear my music, and unfortunately even at low volume you are able to clearly hear sound up to 6 feet away. I have no issues with the battery, as it seems to last exactly as described.

I got these for my husband as he trains to run marathon and even though he's tech nervous he loved them after his first run and says he'll probably get a lot of use out of them with other activities too. They sound great, but people a few feet from you can definitely hear what you're listening to even with privacy mode turned on.

I'm still trying to find the best practical use for these guys and I came to the conclusion that they're just DOGGONE COOL!! Not only that, they're actually awesome at what they do. The music sounds great and phone calls are crystal clear. The more I use them, the more practical they're becoming. On long drives, I only use them for phone calls. Walking, biking, and running in my neighborhood, I use both music and call features. Here are the pros and cons:
-Pros:
1) As comfortable as my other high end sunglasses
2) Interchangeable frames to go with any style or face shape
3) Music sounds awesome
4) Crystal clear calls
5) Quality polarized lenses
6) Price for kit and other frames
7) Definitely a conversation starter
-Cons
1) Proprietary charging cable
Buy these and I assure you...THEY'RE THE TECH YOU DIDN'T KNOW YOU NEEDED!!!

Great glasses, amazing sound, you can customize the sound through the app for what ever your listening to. Only thing is if you on a call with them while on privacy mode becareful because other people can still hear since they are still loud. Other then that there way better then the Bose ones.

Cool glasses. Had the Bose before and liked how the sound didn’t leak past your ears on decent volume. These are definitely louder, but others can easily hear what you’re listening to. Love the interchangeable lenses so you don’t have to replace the entire thing.

Awesome! I love these so much more than all the other smart audio glasses I've had - Bose, Fauna, you name it. They are thinner and sound better to me. The app is robust and the modular feature is well designed.
