This desk is perfect for my daughters room, fits nicely without taking up too much room and matches her furniture, she loves the pull out keyboard tray. That is her favorite part since her previous desk did not have one.

hard to put together .... Look small for adult but ok for kids

It was extremely hard to put together (it took me about 4 days to finish), instructions are hard to understand and parts are missing. After I finally finished, called Best Buy CS and was asked if I still wanted the missing parts. Stupid!!!!! DO NOT BUY!!!! unless you're a genius.

Good for homework and for sitting in front of the computer.

This piece came in broken, looks very cheap. Sent back to Best Buy and went elsewhere.

This is a nice desk for the money. Clean lines & doesn't look cheap. It didn't take too long to put together (1.5 hrs), either, BUT the instructions were a little choppy. Found pictures easier than text instructions. Also, found order of instructions wasn't the easist. Color was ALMOST black. I'd call it "dark, dark chocolate".

This is an ok desk. I only paid $73 for it on sale and I'm not sure it's worth more than that. First of all, what people have said about the instructions not being easy is true. There were a couple steps that really confused me and took awhile to figure out what you were supposed to do. I've put together a lot of things before and I found this difficult. It's not clear which direction certain pieces are to be installed so I put on pieces backwards and had to switch them and I'm pretty careful about making sure things are right. (I've learned that lesson before) Also the pieces themselves damage easy. I'm pretty careful with them and the sides with the color just seemed to flake off. I've never had an item do that before. And one other thing is the glides on the drawer were plastic. They seem to work alright but not sure how long plastic will last. But it is nice to have a drawer high up that's easy to get to for me to store things. Overall it gets the job done. It seems to have an alright amount of storage. I really wanted to put my CPU on the upper shelf and wasn't sure if it would fit..it does. And it does look descent. The color is nice. And there does seem to be lots of room. I'm not really sure if I would buy this again. If it was on sale again and I didn't have a whole lot of money to spend I might. But I might try to spend a bit more money and get something else. I'm not sure how this will help someone decide whether to buy this desk or not but I wanted to try and leave a detailed review in hopes that it might.

I had purchased a desk from another store and it had to be the worst desk to write on; if you were trying to do homework, the desk would wobble back and forth. I decided I needed a new desk and saw this one. It had decent reviews with most of them being rated less because the finish was slightly damaged when they removed the parts from the packaging. I guess I may have gotten lucky with this one because I see no major flaws on the finish. The desk is very sturdy and looks great as well. I took off the extra shelf on the back because it was awkward having to look up at my monitor, but this desk is exactly what I was looking for.

This is a nice desk for a teenager, not too big and not too small. The only complaint I have is that the paint comes off too easily around the edges. Other than that the desk is sturdy and functional.

It was easy to assemble. Took me less than an hour. It helps more to look at the pictures. Some paint on the edges had already come off because of the poor packaging it came in. But it is durable. Holds my computer very well. I'm 5'3 and i am able to sit comfortably but my boyfriend whose a little taller has to take out the keyboard tray. I have no complaints about the desk except I wish the manufacturer would do a better job at packaging.
