this is coming in very handy when I can't sit still long enough to charge the battery pack or wall. I have portable batteries and many a charger but is nice going straight back to 100

Upon openning the box, the battery is fully dead and requires charging. I did some test on a 30% battery and it took about 1 hour and 12 minutes to fully charge it. The LED indicates if the battery needs charging Green (full), Yellow (50%), Red (>50%). I would have given the product 5* if only it charged the battery in 30 minutes or less. Like all rechargeable batteries, cold temps. exposure drains its power, cover and insulate it.

The first accessory you should consider, it is the perfect companion for the Galaxy S5: Battery, Charging case, Carrying case and Charger. However, frequent use will put some stress on the phone Battery Door / cover, so open with care.

Spare battery holds the charge very well. Alternate to portable battery pack which are slow to charge the phone. Can be a life saver on camping trips or long flights when power is not available.

My Samsung charging port is touchy and I cannot always use a traditional charging method. This charger allows you to charge the phone battery outside of the phone. Great option for a second battery too!

It is great to have the spare battery charged and ready when I need to change. My old one was getting weak so I got this so I can charge the dead one while not being tied to a charger.

My phone is older so the battery life is not what it used to be. This is a great way to have an extra battery charged at all times. The case is nice to protect the charging battery.
