If you liked Gladiator,and 300 you will love this show.the main actor (R.I.P) was great as Spartacus.Only a couple of episodes were a little slow but not so slow that you had to skip over.I recommend this show highly.

One of the best shows i've seen in a while... the plot thickness more than expected and then comes the unexpected twist!!, the scenery, the portrayal of how they lived in that era. i've watched it over 5 times now..

I hope they make one next season. They said my review is too short. But maybe I wanted a short review. It is a good show. Don't need a lot of words to say what I wanted. Thank you very much. Have a nice day.

If you would like to see what the real Roman style of life was like this is the greatest telling of that story I have ever seen. Buy it !!!!!! Mike

the show is very well done. the acting so well done. i think someone made a mistake in taking andy whitfield's life too early as he had so much more potential in this series.

Without a doubt it was my favorite show. Too bad the Andy Witfield wont be able to star in any more seasons due to his cancer.

Lots of blod,guts,action,doublecrosses and women. Lots of nudity. Heads literally roll.

Too bad we have to wait almost a whole year for Season 3!

This is by far the best season of this show. The story line is perfect. So entertaining and addictive, I've watched it several times over.

A must have on dvd and blu-ray, can't stop watching but it's not for children.

Interesting and very violent show about Gladiator training. Not for kids and the weak of stomach.
