Occasionally it falls but that is due to mishandling or pushing to hard. Even has a folding camera cover tab.

Works great as standing case. I like the clip to close! One star lost for the pencil holder – mine is on the flap that goes over the camera, making it difficult to use as it flops open when I put the pencil in or out.

It’s very clean. I enjoy it. They have no whales where you can put your pencils or something that was catching to me with the little elastic on the back of it where you can stick your inner pencil often too, so I enjoy it.
