Solid case. Dropped from 10 feet up onto tile floor and the iPhone survived without damage. Better than the other cases (Otter, etc) we had from a lower height.

My son liked this mainly because of the color but I like the protection it provides. Probably not as good as otter box but works well enough for a teenager.

After 2 otter box tries I went back to APPLE and am very happy. This fits into my purse as it is slimmer than the otterbox. And now we will see how long it lasts!

iphone5 -This was a replacement for the wife's broken unit. The broken unit was immediately replaced by SPEC with little dispute as long as you had a receipt. The wife must have dropped her phone atleast 25-30 times in a matter of ten months. And it seems like all the drops were focused on the corners where the crack started to occur. iphone4 -wife had same type of case on an iphone 4 and lasted about the same time of ten months, same crack on the corner & was immediately replaced by ATT *my only quirk is the price at $35 but its much cheaper than a new glass screen, new glass backing, and certainly cheaper than a new phone. THE CASE SIMPLY WORKS!

Great case for iPhone 5. Protects the phone well. I've dropped the phone a few times and the case didn't break nor did anything happen to the phone.

The raised edges around the screen are a little irritating and were taller than the last case. Takes some getting use to. That said, with this case installed and a film for the screen, the phone got dropped face down in the middle of a crosswalk and was run over by a car two weeks after getting it. Seriously. The case had tread marks on the back, however with the phone or even the screen did not break. Might replace the film, but that is all. For us, it was well worth the money, and very surprised that it worked great.

I have used the speck cases since my first iPhone with a glass protectant I have dropped my phone numerous times and it hasn't broken. The case does its job.

I love the teal and white together. And I can still the have the look of my white iPhone. Seems to be working just fine, but I'm a careful person with my phone as it is.

This speck case is nice and compact. It feels like the iphone is protected, but have not had the misfortune of testing it out, luckily. I have heard good things about the speck brand and I owned one for my iphone 4. That one was put through the ringer as I dropped it multiple times and iphone was safe and sound. I can only assume (i know, i know) that this one will be similar. The style of case allows a lot of disrt/dust to build up under it. It has not caused any issue with my phone but you should be aware of it. Installing a screen protector on the phone would be a good idea

I like to carry my phone in my pocket so I need it to slide in/out easily. This case serves this purpose well but it seems just from regular use, the case gets scratches easily since it's a semi hard case. Not that it's a bad thing but some may frown upon it not looking scratch free after only a week or two. Otherwise, the case does its job protecting the phone and providing me the abIlity to slide the phone easily in/out of my pant pocket, unlike cases made of rubber or other sticky material that make it difficult to get the phone out of my pocket. Fits nicely as well.

Great phone case for iPhone5. I dropped my phone and nothing happened to it thanks to this case. The price is just right for the quality of this case.

This case was purchased for my daughter's phone. She likes it a lot. She likes the way it looks. She says that it's slim but protects the phone well.

It is a great case. Many people have it, but fail to see it for what is is. It is SUPER protective but has a raised rubber edges to protect the screen. Dual layer built in. Rubberized corners, easy access to ports and buttons. But it gets scratched so easily that in the light, they are visible and the case looks ugly from the back. Just from laying it down on its back on a smooth surface, it'll get scratched. Great case but eh on looks.

The case fits great; love that it's different than most other styles since it has flowers on it, and I've had it for about 6 weeks and it's not scratching either.

I originally purchased a Lifeproof case for my iPhone 5. While that case is very durable and protective to the phone, the people I was talking with on the phone had a difficult time hearing me speak. the microphone area is too well protected and muffles the voice of the person talking. I purchased the Speck shell because of the open microphone area and because it was sturdy and light weight. The Best Buy rep also told me that they had purchased the same hard case because of their problem with the Lifeproof case and had heard similar reviews. This is a very good case and a great value for the money.

Wanted a durable cellphone case and wanted a certain color. Wish it was on sale when i purchased it.. I like it and it won't slide off the table.

This is my 4th Candyshell case for various iPhones in my family. Compared to all the other cases it offers superior protection while still remaining lightweight...this is not a bulky case. Raised rubber edging protects the screen when you lay the phone down flat. Two of the cases I had became damaged where the thin rubber edging above the charging port became separated from the hard polycarbonate shell of the case. Other than this case rocks.

This product is offered at a great price and seems like it works. I haven't dropped the phone yet, but seems like there is enough protection.

Does not add a lot of bulk to the phone and looks quite sharp. She has dropped her phone several times and all has been well. Seems sturdy

I'm not in to big cases, which makes the speck case great to use. However, the Speck case takes quite a bit of effort to take off and I'm always worried that it will scratch my iPhone when I do. I plug my phone into computer speakers often, but you can't fit the auxiliary jack (3.5 mm) into the slot because its not big enough. All around, it's a sleek case and can take some shock damage, but it doesn't hold up well when using it with other accessories.
