I really like speck cases - they've saved my phones (had one for my 4s as well) many times. The case is slim and sleek, so it does not really change the feel of my phone, which i appreciate (don't like cases that add bulk such that i can't even fit my phone in my small purse or pocket), but it protects very well at the same time and feels secure in hand (not slippery, etc.). The only two issues i have are the size of the opening for the charger, and the durability over time of certain areas on the case. The small charger opening is probably great for protecting the phone and keeping debris out, but i can't fit my car charger in the opening (i have an apple adapter piece for a charger that was originally for my 4s), and have the same trouble with various docks. It does work fine with basic charger that comes with the iphone 5s. As for durability - the parts of the case that are just thin strips of plastic, like around the charger opening , will eventually wear down and crack (especially if you take the case off and put it back on often, which i prefer not to do anyway) - but i think that's just unavoidable with the design, and not a huge deal at this price point.

I've had speck cases before. this case is very durable and light weight. Dropped a few times and had no issues with phone being damaged. Only drawback would be the case scratches easy and swirl marks and totally visible. Other than that if you dont mind marks on the case this is a great buy.

I gave this case four stars, rather than five, simply because of the cost. But, unfortunately, most iPhone cases are around this price range. The design is gorgeous, and I get many compliments on it. I've dropped my phone while using it, and no harm was done to my phone or the case.

Love these cases. They are super slim and provide plenty of protection. Hard exterior with rubber cushioned interior. I have bought 5 of these cases over the years from one iPhone to the next and will continue to buy these cases as I continue to upgrade my phone.

This case is extremely durable and the colors are pretty. The only discrepancy I have is how easily it scratches. It's not too big of an issue for me because they're light, but it was scratched within an hour of having it out of the package.

My daughter bought this case for her iphone and she really loves it. She has been using it for about two months. I was a little concerned about the color, WHITE, but so far it looks as good as the day she bought it! She purchsed it for the attractive design and color.

What a great case. Dropped my phone a couple of times and no damage. It slid out of my pocket once and dropped onto a tile floor and I never heard it hit the floor. I like that this case is slim but durable. I carry my phone in a pocket when I am on the move at work.

I've gone through a few phones and cases and Speck is really the best. The Speck cases are solid. Nice close fit, but not impossible to take off if you need to. Slight rubber bevel on the front, so you can put your phone face down without scratching the screen. A small strip of rubber on each of the corners that tend to take a lot of abuse. Even has a slightly raised rubber emblem on the back to help keep it from sliding around when you put it down. The rubber on these Speck cases seems to last forever. Never had a problem with splitting or cracking rubber or plastic on any of my Speck phone cases, lasting a couple of years each. Buttons work great. Never any issues. Shows some wear over time, but obviously they all do. It's an awesome case - at least for my iPhone SE!

I go through new phones every year and end up trying a couple different cases each time to find one that feels the best. Speck is almost always the brand I end up using. The Candyshell line has a smooth protective hard polycarbonate shell with very soft, supple, easy to push buttons molded into the side of the case. The same soft protective material that protects the buttons also coddles the phone and keeps it snugly held inside the case. It's a dual protective design that does a great job of protecting against the shock of a drop while keeping the case slim. Many companies have tried to copy speck's design for the Candyshell and none that I've tried have been able to duplicate it right. Pros: Feels comfortable to hold. Slides in and out of pockets easily, Slim, Great drop protection, Buttons press easily with case on. Cons: None

I was looking for the slimmest case with what looked like the sturdiest construction for a reasonable price. The Speck CandyShell has met all those requirements. Still fits in my pocket nicely without all the bulk.

For some reason I was drawn to the bizarre mix of purple and blue. I suppose it's one of those mysterious "I think this might be hideous but I must have it" objects. Aside from the potentially objectionable color combo, this is a great case. The cutouts are perfect; the buttons work fine. The iPhone fits in there like a glove, a very tight glove. It's kind of hard to remove it, but that's sort of the point. In short, it provides excellent protection and usability. The only thing I don't like is that it's a little heavier than I think it should be. The iPhone loses it's svelteness a bit and takes on a more, well, orthopedic vibe. But, I'm no "plastics" (HT Benjamin Braddock) engineer so I can't say if it could be lighter/thinner.

Although I think the case was pricey, I feel like it does the job. I have had it about a month now and have dropped my phone 3 or 4 times with no damage from about 2 to 3 feet, once on concrete floor. It has kept looking good with being bashed about in my purse and in my pocket. the buttons that are covered with something work fine, not hard to push or anything and the case itself doesn't interfere with any of the iphone functions. I like the case a lot, but my mom got the same brand in clearance for about $15 and I think that is a more reasonable price. Maybe even up to $25. $40 seems excessive for a plastic/rubber cover.

I bought this because I moved into a new home with tile so I wanted some more protection for my phone. This was very reasonably priced and it so far has done a fantastic job protecting my phone. Great product.

There are a lot of iPhone cases to choose from. This one is a good balance of price, looks, and durability. The phone has survived a number of falls so far and the case does its job to keep the phone unscathed.

I bought this phone case for a friend as a present. It was reasonable priced as it was included in an accessory combination deal. Seems to be working fine for her, she really liked the design.

This cover does it's job well- protects the phone. While I didn't buy it for its looks, one drawback is that the back show scratches quite a bit. But, better than scratching the phone itself.

Love how well this protects my phone it's very sleek as we'll not bulky however the down fall is that it gets scratched up almost right away when you start to use your phone

This is my second time buying this case but only because I broke it by not taking care of it. It will withstand your phone from many drops and take care of it overall.

This is a fine case for someone who doesn't care about the way their case looks. I bought it because electric blue, or pool blue is my favorite color. The color is true to the picture, until you have it for a day. I didn't have it for even a full day and noticed the blue was dingy. The vibrant blue now looks like a seafoam green. The plastic scratched up very quickly as well, and the buttons for the ringer and the lock wear very quickly. Mind you I am not adventurous. This phone stays in my hand, or on a desk. However, safety wise it's great. I've dropped my phone a few times on the corners and there is no damage.
