I was looking for the slimmest case with what looked like the sturdiest construction for a reasonable price. The Speck CandyShell has met all those requirements. Still fits in my pocket nicely without all the bulk.

Great case with a sleek style that protects from drops without being so bulky you can’t fit it in your pocket.

True, the main purpose of a case like this is to protect the phone, and this one seems to do ok at that. It's got a nice, rubbery interior section where the phone fits snugly, and a harder outside shell. I imagine it would do well against drops. However, the mere act of setting the phone on the desk should not result in a case covered in scuffs and scratches. I haven't dropped this phone, nor has it been in any potentially harsh location (laptop bag, rough surface, pocket with keys, etc). I take good care of this stuff, whether in a case or not. Yet in less than 2 days, the case is covered in horrible scratches and scuffs. Yes, the case is primarily for protecting what's inside, but for what this costs, you want it to look halfway decent, too. And this one does...until you take it out of the package.

I bought this because I moved into a new home with tile so I wanted some more protection for my phone. This was very reasonably priced and it so far has done a fantastic job protecting my phone. Great product.

I have purchased this case for all my iPhones. I only replace it because the black plastic on the back scratches really easy. But the protection it offers it's incredible. Unlike most phone cases, this case is very slim and doesn't make your phone bulky but still gives you excellent shock protection. I have dropped my phones several times and my phones have never suffered any damage. The phone never comes out of the case by itself, it's not bulky, excellent drop protection and its a fair price for a case.

Great product, light weight with a sold feel. I would recommend to anyone looking for good protection without added bulk.

We like this case as it has pretty good phone protection. My daughter uses my phone a lot and of course many "accidental drops" but it has the edges covered and my screen still looks pretty good.

the only thing from giving this a perfect 5 star is that one has to remove the case to charge phone if you still have the 30 pin charger using the 30/8 pin adapter otherwise great product.

This case is protective and easy to grip. Protects the phone while still being stylish I'm very happy with the product

We purchased this case as for a replacement phone. It was the right color and the right texture. It has so far been very serviceable and seems to do everything that it says it does.

I dropped it a purple of times with good support with this case! Not to mention it's a really pretty case also! Most of all it's a great way to keep my phone safe!

I like this case a lot. It's not bulky like others and it is light weight easy to put in your pocket. It doesn't scratch your phone like other cases. It will not cover if you drop your phone as well as others(possibly) but I have drop my phone a couple of times and thank god it landed on the back side so no damages very durable and tough. I do wish they made more of a selection to choose from. Definetly recommend getting one though.

Speck case fits perfectly, feels like phone will be safe from drops. Not bulky at all.

I had to replace a well worn and loved case, so I chose this Speck product. It has a good grip and does't slide out of my hand. The volume buttons are protected as well.

My son liked this mainly because of the color but I like the protection it provides. Probably not as good as otter box but works well enough for a teenager.

Bought this case for my daughter who is 11 so you can imagine the abuse my old poor IPhone 5 is taking. Thus far both phone and case are coming along fine. No problems.

Great case for iPhone 5. Protects the phone well. I've dropped the phone a few times and the case didn't break nor did anything happen to the phone.

I like the black color and I like that it protects my phone. Recently I dropped it on a hard floor and to my surprise the glass did not shatter.

Love the slim design of this case. Not bulky at all yet still protects well. I was disappointed that for the money, it didn't come with a screen protector.

I wanted a simple inexpensive case to protect my phone after my OtterBox broke ( and not from dropping it). This case fits the bill nicely.
