The case fits tight and has held up to the middle school abuse so far.

I've gone through a few phones and cases and Speck is really the best. The Speck cases are solid. Nice close fit, but not impossible to take off if you need to. Slight rubber bevel on the front, so you can put your phone face down without scratching the screen. A small strip of rubber on each of the corners that tend to take a lot of abuse. Even has a slightly raised rubber emblem on the back to help keep it from sliding around when you put it down. The rubber on these Speck cases seems to last forever. Never had a problem with splitting or cracking rubber or plastic on any of my Speck phone cases, lasting a couple of years each. Buttons work great. Never any issues. Shows some wear over time, but obviously they all do. It's an awesome case - at least for my iPhone SE!

This case a great. I like it a lot better than ones I've had that have soft edges. Those always start to break down and wear out. That's why I chose the hard shell case instead. So far it's worked great and costs less that some of the other brands.
