If you want protection for your iPhone 5 or 5S, then this case may be your best choice. Unlike some cases, it is very slim and doesn't add much to the overall dimensions of the phone. I am using it with the iPhone 5S and the camera opening in the back is large enough to allow proper functioning of the double flash. I also like the fact that there is no plastic over the camera opening which would scratch over time and effect the picture quality. The ribs allow easy handling but reduce the chance of an accidental drop. They also prevent the phone from slipping on a smooth surface. Removing the phone from the case is best done by pressing the back of the case with the thumbs and peeling the case off from the top with the two first fingers.

My son researched several brands of iPhone cases before picking this one. He has had it for almost two months and believes that it was a good buy. He likes the look and feel of the case, and thinks it is sturdy enough to last and protect his phone.

This is a replacement cover. The previous one lasted my teenager a year and a half. She liked it so much she wanted the exact same one.

This case was very disappointing. The grips were pealing up at the edges. Alot of extra material at all the openings. The grips were also very sloppy looking. Wouldnt want this again for free. Let alone for 30 bucks. Get your stuff together speck and start producing quality products again. Or else you may as well just start selling on ebay for 99 cents.

I have had numerous Speck cases and really love them. I had the Candyshell white case and absolutely loved it, expect how easily it got scratched. I got the white because I heard the lighter colors show less scratches but within a few months, my case was beat. I was considering buying another white and black one since I loved it so much but I saw this one with the rubber grips. The grips really help you hold on the slim phone when texting. Also, since the back is mostly covered with the rubber grips, there is less surface area to get scratched. Absolutely love this case! It also doesn't take away from the great design of the iPhone.

I am a teenager that is quite clumsy, so when I got a phone I knew I had to have a case. I had an otterbox for a year and nothing happened. Then I got this case. Fast-forward to the day that I am writing this, and my phone got ran over by a car. The screen was demolished, but THE REST OF MY PHONE AND THE CASE HAD LITTLE TO NO MAJOR DAMAGE. Of course the case had a few nicks and scratches, but it is still in one piece and I plan on putting the case back on my phone when I get it back from screen repairs. Would highly recommend, even if you don't plan on getting your phone ran over.
