I purchased this cover because of the Speck name and my experience with their iPhone cases. The description says to protect and complement your laptop. The only protection this case will offer is protection from exterior scratches to your laptop. It is not meant to protect against an accidental drop. I realized this when I purchased it. The top cover snapped onto my MacBook Pro easily. The bottom cover is another story. It was a challenge to get on and it is still not on properly. There are four tiny lips that snap over the laptop. The two at the back of the laptop on the bottom will not snap over the laptop. In addition, The bottom case corner cracked during installation. Not something I am happy about after spending $53 (with tax) for the case. I love the color but note that dust and particles can find their between the laptop and the case and they are noticeable due to the color. I frequently am removing the case to remove particles. If the case did not crack during the installation and the bottom part attached properly, I would have given the product a better rating and I would have recommended it. Because of this, I can only give it two stars and I do not recommend it.

This cover well suits my mac book and the color is ellegent but this is not of that good quality as expected

I love this see thru case. It keeps my laptop from sliding on surfaces and protects it from scratches. Would definitely recommend this case to users.

Beautiful color. More green than blue. I haven't problems with the top part, but the inferior part in less than month was broken of the corners. I'm disappointed.

I bought this and a Thule cover for my new MacBook so I could compare. I ended up keekping this one as it was more lightweight than the Thule cover, which was one of my main concerns. The other concern was protection. I don't know how well it will protect my MacBook but it does give at least one more layer of added protection, which is worth it to me since I travel constantly with it. The Thule provided much more protection but it was also heavier and bulkier. This cover has the added benefit of also looking really good and fitting perfectly. Also handy in that it doesn't interfere with the opening and closing of laptop. As it snaps right on, there isn't an extra step to remove the laptop from the case, as with the Thule. I only gave it 3 stars as it is way overpriced for 2 thin pieces of plastic. But then, Apple is way overpriced on all of their accessories.

This is a great case to protect the look of your Mac, and comes in many different colors to fit your personal style! The case is a perfect, so you do not have to worry about the case falling off. Great case!

This is the first time that I bought a protection cover for my MacBook Pro. I wanted something that would be lightweight and see thru since the MacBook Pro is pretty by itself, while protecting it against scratches. I found this and got it in clear and I love it! Easy to install and serves the purpose well! It has little feet at the bottom that also grabs on to the surface that I like as well.

So this was my first purchase after buying my Macbook Pro "15 retina display, since I had bought the laptop and insurance at best buy I was able to get this case for $10.00 instead of the $50.00 listed. I have to say I'm really glad I bought this case. It's a great color, thick, fits the laptop lovely, easy to put on and not too hard to take off (if I want to change it). It keeps my computer clean and well protected as well. It doesn't over heat either. I would definitely purchase another one if I ever wanted to change the color.

I bought this to protect my teenager's Apple laptop and it does protect the computer well, but her last one cracked after only 7 months, so I bought another to replace it. She really likes these cases and the colors they come in. I just wish they lasted longer, but she does take her laptop everywhere with her.

This clear case protects my laptop from scratches and other light damages, and also looks nice. The part of case that covers the superior part, adjusts perfectly; but the bottom part never has adjusted properly in one of the corners of the laptop. Overall is a good product.

Love the color and translucency. Fit perfectly. Great protect from scuffs and scratches. Worth the price for protecting an 1800 dollar laptop.

There are not too many choices when it comes to having an actual case on a MacBook, so when we came across this, we had to order it. It's a beautiful color, but we have concerns that if we were to mistakenly drop it, the case would just shatter. It is made out of a type of hard plastic and not rubberized other than the four small nubs at the corners to keep the computer steady. We still think it's better than having nothing at all on it.

The case I bought for my new Apple Pro is lovely, but it got cracks within the first 2 weeks where you lift the lid of the computer up. It will still protect the computer from scratches, but it cost too much to have cracks so early in the game.

I am impressed with this product. I usually buy INVISIBLEshield to protect my entire device and was happy to see that this case covered the top and bottom of the computer very well. It fit snugly and securely and its weight is negligible. I bought an aqua-colored case (so it stands out) and I put pictures under the cover (so it is personalized). I tried removing the cover and it took a lot of effort (it does come off without leaving any mark on the computer). I like this because when I travel, this could deter thieves. Or at least, frustrate them because they would not be able to use the device (and pretend that it is theirs) if they happen to be traveling on the same plane or bus <g>!

Looks good and protect my Mac very good. Not heavy at all.

This cover is transparent and appears to be up to the task. My only concern is that the cover is flimsy and likely to crack over time, as happened with the counterpart I purchased some time ago for my 11" MacBook air.

Great case. Fits like a glove on my MacBook Pro. Great price. Easy to put on. Easy to take off. Keeps my MacBook well protected. Very happy with this item.

This case adds a great protection to my new MacBook Pro without adding weight, or taking away anything from the looks of the laptop!

Purchased this for my wife when she bought her MacBook. It was a great fit and look it is much better than some other knock off brands that don't fit like a glove.
