The rim above and around the front of the phone will protect the screen from bumps and from most unexpected drops from a low height.

Great case, improvement on the CandyShell Grip

The edges are more rounded and make the case feel slimmer. I prefer the matte finish on the Presidio over the glossy Candyshell.
