It does have extra corner protection bumps, but they also tend to collect dirt. But, so far, it's handled a few minor drops.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Was not the correct one for my phone the buttons didn't match up to the holes.a mic Jack did not line up with the whole I had to take it off every time I wanted to push a button I finally got to the point where I cut the plastic so that the buttons were exposed and could be used but I still had to take it off to use my Jack to listen to music. A person who put this on should have realized that it was not the right one when the buttons did not match up to the hose or the controls.
