Bought this product when I purchased my macbook pro 13'. Looks nice on my laptop. Protects the outer surface from getting scratched up especially when I carry it inside my backpack. It was very easy to install. At first I was worried of the clips on the side I thought it might scratch the edges but the clips on the speck was made nicely that it won't damage the finish. Prefect for people who travels a lot and just throws their laptop in a backpak. Not too bulky and looks durable.

Good cover, protects top and bottom of the computer excellent, edges and corners are susceptible to cracking and breaking off. Heavy use (high school student with backpack transport) will crack edges and break off corners, not terrible, but still not great considering the price. Do not remove it once installed, it will definitely crack, just be very careful if you ever do remove it. At the end of the day, it's worth it to protect the computer, especially if you don't have a dedicated sleeve/bag to carry it around.

This MacBook Pro case fits very well, keeps the laptop from overheating, and looks great. I love that the apple can be seen through it when it lights up as the computer turns on. Be mindful of the correct positioning of the case when it's put on because it can crack slightly if it's facing the wrong direction. I bought the glassy finish case rather than the matte finish; although the matte finish looks nice, I hear that it needs to be cleaned more often from fingerprints etc. Also, note that the "MacBook Pro" 13" case doesn't fit the MacBook Pro with Retina Display 13" laptop (& vice versa) so pay close attention to the packaging.

I have always been a fan of speck and when I purchased my MacBook pro and seen they made a case for it I stopped looking and went with the no brainer. If anyone has ever owned a speck case for their phone they more than likely love them because they are slim, offer great protection, and are aesthetically pleasing. The same goes for their MacBook cases. You won't be disappointed and you will be thankful in the long run when your MacBook is still in prestine condition.

Case fits well. Not bulky and does what it's supposed too. Little over priced for 2 pieces for plastic though.

I wanted to get something for my Macbook pro that would keep it from dings and such. I little protect goes a long way and will a little extra color you can't go wrong. Glad I made this purchase.

This case was easy to put on my computer, but it seems like it will break if I try to remove it. Nice protection from scratches, would be nice if it were available in more colors.

Looks and feels great. Protects well for my kind of handling; I'm not too rough with my macbook at all though. I'm very careful so I don't know how well it would actually protect my laptop if it fell off a table. In my experience it is a five star product, but I am giving 4 stars because it was very difficult to take off the top part. Once it snaps on, it is merely impossible to take off the top part. I felt like it was going to break the screen..but that's just my experience with it. Other than that, I love mine. I bought it in black, and in pink. I love how the apple logo light still shines though the plastic.

I was looking for a protective case for my newly purchased MAC PRO and wanted something that wasn't obtrusive. I purchased the clear Speck hard case and have found it to be perfect. It provides hard shell protection, doesn't significantly add to the overall weight, and doesn't look like an obnoxiously colorful cover I see so much of. Very pleased.

I would recommend this product to people. It protects my laptop great & you can see through it. That feature makes it great for traveling with all airlines.

I bought it for my wife for her new macbook she loves it and it protects well. Losses 1 star for being overpriced

PRO's: Bought for the wife's laptop. She likes the way it protects her investment and the color along with the fact it didn't add any noticeable weight to what she'll be lugging around for school. CON's: I'm pretty sure it won't protect her laptop against a drop from a table or chair. Just prevent scratches and minor dings to the outside finish.

I really just wanted this product to make my macbook 'pink' but it has also proven to be protective. I use my computer for school and clinicals so I take it with me everyday to multiple places. I have not dropped my computer or anything but I can definitely tell where this case is protecting it from scratches! Love it!

My hot pink protector is great. It prevents my laptop from getting scratches and marks. It's also very cool because of the hot pink color !!!

This is one of the few cases i would have ever thought about putting on my brand new macbook. its stylish and protective, great buy.

This cover looks nice on my Mac and the protection it provides is adequate. The price was reasonable and it was easy to install.

The speck case is a very good fit and it looks nice although it scratches and I would rather that the speck logo was not on it.

Two pieces that snap on the bottom and top of your MacBook to protect it while adding color to your laptop. Looks great and haven't had any heating issues as it provides the right slots to vent. Be sure you get the right kind for your laptop (i.e. retina or non-retina). It makes a difference.
