This was nice protection for my Macbook Pro. I ended up returning it though because I didn't like the way it detracted from the looks of the notebook. If I decided eventually to wanting a cover I would buy this one again.

This case offers great protection against scratches, it is not thick on the computer, it fits perfectly.

I had previously owned a speck smartshell case a couple of years ago and at that time the cases were infamous for having the corner clips crack and break off, even when not being rough on the product. Well, I decided to go ahead and give the speck case another try recently, and I must say that the clips seem like they have been improved since a couple of years ago. I guess maybe speck listened to the consumers. So far I've been using the case for about a month and no issues as of yet; better than what I can say for the last time I had the case. Hopefully, it continues to hold up for a while to come.

Cons: Way over priced for what it is, scratches extremely easily, makes my MacBook look cheap. Pros: It's a nice shade of blue.
