This is my second purchase of a Speck shell case for my daughter's 13-inch MacBook Pro. She loves the way it looks. I love the way it protects. She got a full two years of daily service out of the first one (toting it around her college campus) before the front corners of the bottom half finally started to crack. I definitely got my money's worth of protection for the MacBook, so I bought another Speck case to continue that great protection.

I love my Apple products and their portability but their metal exteriors can get dinged or dented easily enough that I have found these cases essential. They help keep my laptop looking new and unblemished for a very long time while protecting it from the normal bumps and dings encountered during everyday use or the accidental item I put in the bag with it. It also makes the glow on the apple a bit more subtle which I like as well.
