Fits like a glove and totally protects your MacBook

Picked up this shell for my mac book pro and I love it. Previous shells had plastic areas near the keyboard that would get caught on my shirt. This one does not have that problem. This is a durable sleek shell.

The shell is a great way to protect your computer.

The color and fit of the product are great. I had it for a few weeks and one corner already broke off, so I wouldn't suggest if you are tough on your technology.

Case if made of thin brittle plastic. Seems to protect against scratches but not much else. After a month a corner cracked off apparently from snagging a bed sheet.

I've had Speck cases on my Apple macbooks since 2010. They've always been great quality, but I miss the rubbery satin texture of the older models. I wish they had a satin/frosted clear case.

The skin is going to provide great protection, but the clicking it into place leaves it a loose on the bottom piece close to the front of the computer.

I previously owned a 17" MBP and had a Speck cover for it for the 6+ years I owned it. The cover didn't really show signs of wear until the last year or so, but even then it was minimal. So when I decided to replace my MBP with a smaller, newer version, I didn't hesitate to buy another Speck cover...after all I had taken the previous one to work regularly and even to several different countries around the world with no issues. It fit my new MBP just fine and other than having a slippery feel to it, I didn't have much to complain about. Well, here I sit after owning my current case for less than 3 months and I just noticed one of the foot covers is missing. Other than going from home to work and back again, this has seen minimal use compared to my previous case. I checked on another well known site and this is apparently a known issue - man I wish I would have checked the reviews first. Do yourself a favor and pass on this case. Speck is not what they used to be and don't deserve your cash.

Not many color selections at the store when I purchased my MacBook Pro but so far no issues. The associate at the store put it on for me so I didn't have any trouble getting it to snap in place.

I like this cover. It's my third one. It may be a little easy to break if dropped on its corner, so if you drop your laptop often, you may want to consider a cheaper option.

I have purchased several of these over the past few years. Would have received a 5 star if they didn't break over time. Overall great product wish it just stood the test of time.

After only about three weeks of normal routine use (definitely not treated roughly, the computer costs too much to be anything but gentle with it) small peices were breaking off and allowing the computer to slide out of the case.

Not too happy with this purchased. The case is to protect the laptop and not cause scratches. dust and small size rocks will build up and collect dirt and scratch the bottom.

This shell case is still one of the best out there. I highly recommend for the 13" and 15" versions. It will protect very well against scratches and dents. I would say that if you are buying to protect against drops, this shell case will only provide minimal protection.

It protects the Mac book great but if they keep it on their bed or put it on a couch it is a very slippery cover and I think it needs more on the bottom to help with that.

I liked the case once the sales associates finally found the right size... I should have brought the laptop, because having more just like mine there didn't help!

I use my computer in my truck when on the road and needed a case to protect it when I don't want to tuck it away in my bag. I can slide my Mac between my seat and console and know it won't get damaged. That extra layer of protection is worth every cent.

When I first bought my MacBook Pro I though I could be very careful and take extra care of it but I quickly learned that it gets scratched very easily. This cover comes in very handy and it is very thin I like it and haven't taken it off since!

I love Speck cases, and I have had multiple colors for my computer, but I finally wanted to switch it up and choose a basic color. I am very happy with my decision because it slims my computer down even more than it already is, and it does not show dirt!
