Purchased this item for my MacBook pro 15" & it was too large.

I have a new MacBook Pro and this case does not fit the new model.

This product is exactly what I wanted and needed for my Macbook Pro. ^ years ago I bought a Macbook Pro and used a very similar shell of the same brand; it protected my Macbook very well. This newer shell seems to be nearly the same as my older shell, but with a smoother feel.

I will start by saying I've owned 3 17" Speck cases in the past. They were always more expensive, but fit well and lasted a long time. This made the price tolerable. I can not say same for this 15" MBP case. First, the price is quite crazy given the alternatives available, but I decided to purchase it anyways based on the past reliability of my others and the fact that they're now in stock in the stores more often than not. The main problem is that it simply doesn't fit well. If you put the bottom rear corners on first, at least one of them pops off the case when you seat the front bottom case corners. Now matter how many times you repeat this process, the bottom case will simply not seat all the way. This could be a bad batch, and the corner isn't broken, just won't stay put. For the price, that's not acceptable. To make matters worse, their support takes 2-3 days to reply, which in this day isn't acceptable. OVer all, I would pass on this item and go for cheaper, better fitting alternatives.

It's a nice product to protect your computer but it could fit a little better. The bottom slides around a little and one of the piece that holds it on broke.

Cases are available online that are less expensive, but those cases don't feel as sturdy as this one. The plastic feet on the bottom seem secure. The top casing doesn't always feel locked in, but is easy to remove if needed.

This case is very durable. I bought it in 2015 and I didn’t need another one until now 2021.

Case is for my 2015 15" Macbook Pro. Less than two months use and the plastic covering at the corner by the charge input snapped off. The right side of the case by the card reader is not secure and bounces when pressed. This case is covering a $3k laptop, that is certainly not getting throw around, and should be holding together much better than it is.

Fits great, but within a Month the Top Right corner of the bottom case that snaps onto my computer appears to be very weak and about to break.

don't buy this case cheep and it feet started coming off the first week

The only thing worse than Speck's cases is their customer service. I tried to get a warranty repair on my case, that started cracking in the corners after 2 weeks of use; and they pretty much ignored my emails to try to get the issue resolved. I was contacted once asking for my receipt (which, working for Geek Squad, I always remember to keep) and I never got anything from them after that, even after multiple emails. I would never buy another one of their products and I will never recommend them to any of my clients.

Base cover never fit snug, always fell off on the corners. Screen cover ended up cracking.

They are just good for looking, technically what kind of protection are you expecting from this plastic? My laptop fell less than 2 feet from coffee table to my rug, a thick rug, and not only did this product broke in 2 pieces, but because of it my screen got damaged. I complained to them and they said they can replace the case for no extra cost, but who needs a flimsy protection when they are not protecting the product? Terrible product, terrible experience, never again speck!!!

If it were an option I wouldn't even give this case one star. I have had it for a couple of months with very light use and the edges are chipping away. On top of that it has a very slick feel so that when picking it up you have to grip much harder. I feel like I'm going to drop it every time. I had a case before this by another manufacturer that lasted 3+ years so it's not that I'm not used to using a case. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS CASE!!!!

Speck cover for my new 15" MacBook Pro had shipment/handling scratches on top surface. This Speck cover was shipped to Turkey Creek Best Buy location. Speck packaging leaves this area completely exposed. Very bad design. Best Buy associate should have detected both times. I wasted 2 trips to store. Will never buy Speck product again nor order anything from Best Buy again.
