My macbook stays on my desk and the corners started to crack by themselves. If you carry your laptop arond with you it will probably crack the first day.

I could literally watch the crack get bigger each day. I had to order a new cover within a month of purchase. I did not drop it or have any other reason it should have splintered like it did.
