I generally get cases for my laptops and this has, so far been the best, fits my M5 Macbook Pro perfectly, easy to get on, and if needed, get off. The back vent fan area is slightly more open (less covered) that I expected, but overall, a great case.

Love this case! It fits my MacBook perfectly and looks super clean. It keeps it safe from scratches without adding any bulk. I’ve dropped my laptop once and it held up great — solid protection and still sleek.

This Macbook case fits well and is lightweight - I think it will work very well!

It's really pretty and fits snug. My only complaint is that I've not even had it 9 months and all 4 corners of the lid piece are cracked.

I bought this case in store same day I bought my m3 14in macbook pro. I’ve always kept my laptop in a padded carriying case with a hand and shoulder strap. I’ve never dropped my laptop, not even inside or outside the padded case. The shell has chipped up on the corners and the bottom has a crack. Maybe it fits to snug. But this is strange being that my macbook never been dropped or banged around.

Looks really good once installed. But a few weeks later the corners started to break and it is past the allowed time to return it. So I bought some nice plastic trash.

Great case very protective keeps max books safe and sound

I have had several of these cases and keep making the mistake of ordering another one. For my older MacBooks they worked great and lasted for years. For my 14" 2021 MacBook they keep breaking. I had one replaced by Speck. It lasted about six months before it started to break around the corners. I bought this one and it lasted less than six months again before breaking around the corners and now has a huge crack the length of the top cover. I use my computer only on my lap at home and have only traveled with this 2x in the last year. I guess I need to find a new brand.

This was an absolutely great purchase. It’s everything I need for our business. This is a great product and Best Buy did an amazing job helping me find the right laptop for our business needs thank you for all your help.

I was excited to try out the Speck Smartshell Case for my 14” MacBook Pro (M1/M2/M3), but I’m a bit disappointed with its durability. The bottom shell doesn’t fully click on near the back, and it seems like it wasn’t designed to snap in place there. This leaves part of the case feeling flimsy, especially when I’m taking my laptop in and out of my backpack. For the price, I expected a more secure fit and stronger build quality. While it does offer some protection, I don’t have full confidence that it will hold up over time, especially with frequent travel.

Love it - study and easy to clip on. Already cracked it a little when my laptop slid off my desk, so it's obviously doing it's job. Would still need a laptop case if you're traveling.

There are small cracks in the case after less than one week use. The computer has not been dropped or bumped. The case looks nice of the computer. However, I don't think it will protect for long, given that it is already developing cracks. I can't recommend purchasing it.

after just a few months of normal use, all four corners have cracked. I'm very disappointed with the quality. Advertised with a one-year warranty, but the product turned out to be garbage. I’ve now seen what kind of quality Best Buy sells

This is the third case I have went through in not even a year, and I am really honestly dissatisfied. The material does not withstand enough for everyday use, and there is cracks that are noticed particularly in the corners almost every time I've used this case

Looks nice and fits well but I don’t remember dropping my laptop or hitting it hard anywhere for it to crack. Look for something else and avoid this.

I’ll just say I completely baby my laptop. It’s always either sitting on my desk or in a padded carrying case inside my backpack. However, somehow, hairline fractures began showing up after a few weeks. Within three months every corner, top and bottom, was cracked. It looks like I’ve been chucking my laptop around… Not worth $40.

I give this case a 4/5 as I feel there's a design flaw in the corners and of both top and bottom portion of the case as they can crack very easily. I have already swapped a set of these out with Speck and provided the same information of how the corners are not that strong. Although, this case has weak corners it is better than nothing. I personally more often than not just have my MBP on a desk and hardly ever travels anywhere. I am a fan Speck by far especially with their phone cases. Just be a bit more cautious when getting this case as again as I mentioned above the corners seem to tension stress crack very easily.

This hard laptop cover is an excellent upgrade and fits my laptop perfectly. It snaps on securely and feels very sturdy without adding unnecessary bulk. The hard shell provides great protection from scratches, scuffs, and everyday bumps, which gives me peace of mind when traveling or carrying it around. I also love how slim and clean it looks—it keeps the laptop stylish while staying lightweight. Installation was quick and easy, and it hasn’t loosened over time. Great quality for the price and I would definitely recommend it.
