I cannot say how it would do if you dropped it but it does what I wanted (protect the laptop itself from dust/scratches/etc. It was easy to snap on the laptop too!

Protects and still see the original look
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've always been a fa of the cleawr hard shell since i like seeing my actual laptop or sticking my own stickers on it with out doing so directly on the laptop itself. Only thing I can say I dont like is where the hing clips the the laptop to keep it secure scratches my wrist so its sometimes annoying. Or I just put a cloth in between my wrist and the corner to avoid getting scratched

Good protection for MBP investment

I previously had one for my MBA and it kept the laptop good as new. So far it provides adequate protection for the laptop. The matte black option is a fingerprint magnet but can be wiped off if cleaned right. Installing the lid/screen one is harder than the bottom part but looks like both won’t come off too easily.

Good case, a little loose

However, the bottom part can come off the corners easily which is a bit concerning. It also easily collects finger prints. Still probably better made than the cheap ones you can get on amazon..i got this case half off and would say it’s worth it for that price, but probably not for full price.

Fantastic Case

I was skeptical at first because I thought it was going to scratch my laptop. It fits perfectly and like a glove. I got the clear one because I still want to see my MBP. It's a bit of a frosty clear so not the glossy one which I prefer because I don't want to see fingerprints. If you're looking for something to help protect your MBP I'd suggest this. It's thin enough for you to still put into your sleeve with it on. There's also little rubber feet at the bottom to help from sliding on the table. I put my decal on my laptop and then the cover over it and you can see the decal perfectly. Great product. Would buy this again even if a bit expensive.
