Good movie to add to ever expanding movie collection

One of the most pulse pounding action flicks of the 90s.

Speed's a great movie and unfortunately this disc needs a remaster. Colors are off, lots of grain. If you don't have it, for $5 you can't go wrong, but otherwise, wait for a remaster.

When Speed first came out it was an instant hit because it was a new type of storyline, and introduced Sandra Bullock to the adventure genre. And who but Dennis Hopper could be a better bad guy.

I'm not the biggest fan of this film, but my wife and kids enjoyed it. Fox cheaped out on this bluray and didn't give it any sort of restoration.

It is not that great. It is enjoyable for what it is, but I don't think it holds up.

This movie is ok. It works if you are looking for an action/suspense movie.

Fast paced action with a good story to follow as well

I purchase this because of a 2 $7.99 movies for $10. It was worth it. I had seen part of it before but I hadn't seen the whole thing. It's a good classic film.

I am not a big action movie guy, but thoroughly enjoyed this film. The leads are terrific, the pacing is tight, and the explosions and crashes are not gratitious. It is well written, with ocassional bits of humor added as counter-balance to the suspence. The blu ray picture is improved over the dvd but the big difference is in the sound. A top notch sound system makes this baby come alive-it's like you're back in the theater seeing it for the first time.

For my money, the BEST action film of all time. Keanu Reeves, Sandra Bullock and Dennis Hopper give their greatest performances to date. Can not think of a single flaw in this movie. The picture is crisp and the sound is great.

This movie gives you non-stop action all the way through. I enjoyed watching this movie.

'Speed' is an adrenaline rush film that misses its mark in my opinion, mainly due to an overly 'campy' presentation. Fans should enjoy this Blue-Ray release though, which offers some quality bonus materials ported over from the standard dvd. Whether or not it's worth the additional price is us to you.

This movie is awesome but watching this movie on blu-ray was painful, it's like watching DVD version, same exact picture, the only thing that was updated was the sound. THAT'S IT! I have Batman 1989 and you notice the difference right away, the picture is crisp & clean. This movie is not worth buying on blu-ray, save your money and keep your DVD if you're a big fan of "Speed" like myself.
