They did a great job in mastering the episodes for this Blu-ray release. The transfers look great, especially when you consider that this show first aired in the US back in 1967. Happy 50th anniversary! Great title!

I love this show, used to watch it growing up along time ago, right along with battle of the planets, Jonny Quest, etc. Grab it wherever you can get it, cause its sold out at best buy for now.

An awesome collections of childhood entertainment that is a must have for the next generation to know. My son already loves Speed and the dangers he faces in every race.

Some things have "staying power". Speed Racer is one of them. Only 2 Seasons were done (1967 and 1968). This "classic show" looks GREAT on BluRay. How about giving the show "GIGANTOR" the BluRay treatment ?

As an anime fan, you can't go wrong with a classic like Speed Racer. This was a fun anime to revisit and well worth the purchase. If you are a fan, pick up the blu ray.

I have been anticipating the blu ray release of Speed racer for years now and I can say without any reservation that I am totally satisfied with the over 50 episodes here. Go speed racer go!

The image quality is better than any previous release, but the source is still very old. If you can get past how it sounds in your home theater, you'll enjoy the nostalgia.

I remember coming home after school and watching the adventures of Speed Racer, Pops, Trixie and the gang every weekday. This are fun slices of my childhood and just a Mach 5 load of fun.

I loved watching this show as a kid back in the 70's. After school, everyday. Glad to see it on Blu-Ray after the DVD versions. So much better then the movie they made a few years back.

Had a couple of seasons of this set but never had the complete set and now on blu Ray! Speed racer is timeless and brings back memories when things were fun. Go speed racer go!

I have fond childhood memories of this cartoon series. I enjoy watching it to this day. Even my son enjoys watching it. They don't make cartoons like this anymore. Totally nostalgic!!!

It was like stepping back in time, to when I was just a kid and loved watching speed racer. I'd watch the show, then go outside and play pretending to be speed racer.

When I found this at bestbuy I wanted to geek out so bad I remember Speed racer re-runs as a kid

Great series, worth an upgrade to blu-ray in my opinion. I only wish they would have included the animated movie in the release.

Another blast from the past for me. I remember watching the cartoons after school in the 70's. Nothing better than Speed Racer except the complete series on Blue Ray.

Simple, straightforward , no frills collection of the classic cartoon show. All episodes in one collection , 5 discs. No booklets, backstory and/ or collectible additions to speak of , but solid for viewing pleasure at a fair price.

Finding old series you watched as a kid is bittersweet, while you notice how simple it was, looking at it in blue ray remastered makes you feel like a kid again

When I was a kid I would get up early in the morning so I could watch this show before going to school. In the years since I've seen a episode here and there and it is kind of hokey looking back but still, it is nice to be able to take a look back anytime I want too now

Why did not I not watch this sooner?! I love the animated series and had completely forgotten about the live action movie. It was amazing. A great movie indeed.

At the Dawn of anime there was Speed Racer.I was young and this was the first show to influence my future Taste..and I'm really not into Anime today...Enjoy!!!
