fun, easy to use, sturdy/hardy, let the grandkids drive to

bought as a gift for young boy, he enjoyed it playing with it

I got it for my nephew for Christmas (yes, I'm the cool uncle). The only glitch was he couldn't run it from his older iPad (2nd gen) as the controller, but I gave him an old MotoX Gen 1 phone I don't use anymore as his controller. Very good controller software which he picked up very quickly. He has a giant poodle and a black lab in the family who chase this around and even bite it and it stands up to their abuse without fail.

Love this thing, 4 year old loves it too. The dog however, does not.

Awesome robot! My son maneuvers this from his iPhone and spends hours playing with it. Great toy..

They loved it and instantly got the hang of it. For some reason the parents android tablet was not new enough to have the option of downloading the associated sphero app to make this work. They had to use their phone instead. Not a huge deal breaker but an issue nonetheless. Make sure your device is supported.

My son has fun doing some programming however he uses it in the "drive mode" more. He likes to build ramps and jump and figure out how to get it to do tricks. It really needs to be more powerful. It gets stuck pretty easily and does not work well "off road". It works best on hard surfaces.

This is a fantastic remote controlled toy, and I'll be honest, I'm a little envious of my kid because we didn't have stuff like this 25 years ago. Great range, great top speed, easy learning curve but it doesn't leave you bored. Only con is my kid broke their tablet and now this toy is inop until I replace the tablet.

Once my daughter mastered the main trick which is basically spinning the robot around, it couldn't really keep her attention. It is a very sturdy built and the lights are cool to look at. Hopefully they will continue developing a robot that does more things.

Saw this toy from the Sphero company and saw potential. Unfortunately, the controls take away from the experience (also, there isn't any controller support) and does not go nearly as fast as you'd think.

My 8 year old loves this gadget. It is conceptually similar to a remote control car but does awesome stunts. Downside: kid needs my phone to use it, as it uses an app instead of a controller.

So, we bought this for my son for Christmas and he absolutely loves it. It's got some great features. Doesn't perform as well as the video demonstrates on anything but hard surfaces

This is a lot of fun. I love how it works but at times when you perform few stunts it might need to be calibrated. Once you get a hang of it it's easy. It has few setting for different control styles n I'm still trying to master everything.

Fun toy. Very Amusing for 7 year old. He loves it & plays with it very often

If you're looking for a fun toy to play around with this a good option.
