Purchased this as a gift for myself and love it as a hobby/toy, but also as a conversation starter. Everyone is amazed at how BB8 moves around on its own and interacts with the voice commands. I’ve gotten approxiamately 30-40 heavy usage out of it prior to needing to recharge. As many reviewers have indicated, beware of walls LOL. The head will fall off if BB8 bumps into a wall or any obstruction— typically when moving at a fast pace.

This toy is d signed for older kids. My 8 year old son loves this toy. Only complaint about it is that there are multiple charging ports and places that the mode must be changed in order to switch. If one switch is in the wrong mode the toy doesn’t work. That is the only downside to it.

I gave this as a present and they love it! It is easy to set up and use. We love the option that lets us speak to it and that it is able to follow us around. I do recommend that it be used in an open area, because it bumps into furniture easily. It is a great collectible too!

Bb8 following you around your house in person just brings a smile to your face If your 8 or 48 years old. Fun to control with the remote and brings back memories of the movie.

This toy was exactly what I was looking for. It comes with a remote control so I don’t have to use my phone....great toy

My daughter got this for Christmas, and absolutely loves it. The controls ate easy to learn and not too "touchy" like the last few drones she's gotten. The interactive feature is her favorite

Nice little toy only problem is head falls off if not put on properly

I can't believe how much I love this plucky little robot. It drives around on its own, responds to voice commands and is just a fun toy. My favorite however is the Follow Me feature. I just walk around my house and BB-8 tracks me..it's insane! A must-have for collectors, young and old.
