    I'd always heard great things about Akira. Best Buy had it on sale so I decided to try it. Amazing movie and the blu Ray quality was amazing.

    My favorite anime more. Myazaki is an amazing director, and this is my favorite movie of his. Animation is obviously top notch, and it has a great unique plot. Recommended.

  • Wonderful translation of Japanese animated film

    The animation is spectacular, especially the backgrounds. Basic knowledge of Japanese mythology is extremely helpful in understanding and enjoying the movie. Disney has exceptional voice talent, and did a really great job of dubbing so that everything matches and flows well. A great addition would be culture "notes" or pop-ups to help fully appreciate the story.
