Fantastic game I have dumped 1645 hours and counting into the game and it is still fun

Refinement of the first 2 games, finally holds a 1080p resolution, and insanely fun to play with all the quality of life improvements and new content

Very fun game, feels a lot better then Splatoon 2 did, I think the specials being mostly reworks of the first game's work much better for balancing. They also made Salmon run feel better with the new bosses they added to it, and made the queue times better for that mode in particular.

Good game even years after release its fun to play and servers are still populated! Also runs like a dream on the switch 2 with the updates.

Love Splatoon 3. Great campaign and great DLC. Lots of modes and features for multiplayer or single player fun.

Having played Splatoon 2 after a friend recommended it to me a little over a year ago, I was pretty familiar with the gameplay and style of Splatoon. This game is a well-rounded follow-up to 2, bringing additional abilities, new weapons, and great improvements to gameplay and general feel of the game. There are still plenty of hiccups when it comes to the online battle modes, resulting in fairly frequently disconnects or moments of lag. The music is fun and energetic, stages are familiar with some upgrades and new additions, and art style is incredibly vibrant and quirky. As someone who doesn't really enjoy FPS-style games, this one definitely has me hooked! Overall, the refined gameplay mechanics make it a great update to the already popular series and will be fun to pick up and play for months to come.

I loved Splatoon 2 and this one is a good follow up. Just like 2 but with some great additions in weapons. I was happy to be able to transfer status from 2. Fun n exciting game.

Mostly fun and polished. Yes, it has many similarities to Splatoon 2, but with many quality of life improvements, and updates still to come. At the time of release, there are some clear issues with connectivity to iron out. It can also be frustrating at times going up against players who are suspiciously good, especially since Nintendo has made it needlessly difficulty to report them.

Bought for my daughter for xmas because she really wanted it. Great buy. She loved it.

Pretty fun game first time playing splatoon game if i'm being honest but heard some good things about it so decided to give it a try!

The past few Nintendo games with free updates, have not been the best, but this one is pretty solid out of the box. It has all the modes (minus the DLC), a ton of weapons, and more clothing I still haven’t unlocked.

I have never been interested in a Splatoon game until this version. Fun multiplayer and an in-depth single player experience with great challenges. Great soundtrack and visuals.

I've never played a Splatoon game before, but this game has captivated me and I will probably go back to play the first two. As other people have mentioned, Switch Online sucks and I feel like this franchise is held back on Nintendo platforms because there isn't an option to voice chat with your teammates at all despite the game encouraging team based strategy and you are constantly getting connrction issues. The worst part is if you're in a room with your friends that room is gone and you have to invite all your friends and make a new one. This is absolutely egregious so as much as I love the game I am going to dock it a star. Aside from that though the multiplayer is great! There are so many different weapons to choose from and play styles to utilize and it's fun to try to unlock them all. I havent had any major issues once I am in a match unlike Smash Bros that lags constantly. Turf War is fun and unique and there are so many other fun multiplayer game modes to try, including Salmon Run in which you fight off hordes of big fish to harvest their eggs. Aside from a lot of multiplayer content the story mode is quite fun. I highly recommend this game! Here's hoping that Nintendo improves their online service.

I played Splatoon 2 on the Switch and had a lot of fun with that game, and Splatoon 3 adds to that. I really like how the game implements motion controls in combat. My issue with this game comes from the online. The game tends to disconnect frequently, so I spend a bunch of time in the lobby trying to get into a match. When it works well, it's fine, but I found the problem to happen way too often. I haven't played since the first month or so after the game's launch, so I'm not sure if that problem has been resolved, but I haven't heard otherwise. With that being said, you should consider getting it if you like Splatoon 2, and people who may have not played a Splatoon game before would like it just the same.

Definitely improves on Splatoon 2 and adds a lot for both new and returning players. Also keeps things fresh throughout the year so you can keep coming back to the game.

Splatoon 3 was one the 2 only games my son wanted for Christmas. Kid you not I went to 20+ stores and the last stop which was 37min away had it. Douglasville Best Buy

Great game! Don't expect any drastic changes as it is everything you love about Splatoon 2 + add in some fun changes to the single player content. The 3-way Splatfests have been fun too!

A very addicting game that is fun even if you are new to the series. The story mode is a blast and so is playing online.

An amazing game on the splatoon series om glad i bought it. I love splatoon 3 and i hope they make even more sequels. Would 100% absolutely reccomend this game to everyone who plays nintendo switch.
