I wasn’t sure if this unit would do the job but it does i set it up in my living room 10x13 plus my kitchen i set it at 75 on a 95 degree weather nd keeps it cool Easy installation nd it’s pretty quiet I would recommend this unit to any one

My new air conditioner is great! It's more compact than my old one. It keeps my room cool and the air filtered to keep my allergies down. I love it!

ts been seriously unseasonably hot in the Silicon Valley area this year. Over 10 days >100, upper 90’s for multiple weeks. Our house, like most houses here, doesn’t have central air. We had a portable AC that we would wheel out for those few days that it was hot, but most of the time window fans keeps the place nice. But this year, the AC we had just wasn’t keeping up. It would keep the living room from getting too hot, but it wasn’t keeping the living room cool. So we saw good reviews on this unit and thought we would give it a try. It was able to get our entire living area cold. Not just the living room but quite a bit more. It left the old one in the dust. It’s the first time this month that we’ve been comfortable in the house.

Waaaay farther away from window with bulky lg hose that won't stay screwed in place. Loud to hear tv over in small room. Drain hose out the window too uphill, so drains in a pot and pulls so much water out of the air you can't believe it. I got it the last week and a half of the month, and my bill was almost doubled (Small house).Was it worth the money, the room, the massive change in ambience? You betcha! Showered, blowed my hair dry, and got dressed without my clothes sticking to me. Solidly made and cools quickly. I'll just have to mentally make it "art".

After reading the reviews, I purchased this A/C unit and couldn't be happier. I have a nearly 1,000 square foot condo with a loft, that sits in the sun all day and this little unit cools it down nicely. It's about as noisy as a motel room A/C unit. I have it near my tv in my living room and it doesn't affect my tv viewing. Nice being able to program it too. I recommend it.

Appliance works great, I'm really happy with it, the only disappointment was when I realized it was only air conditioning and not both air conditioning and heater in one as the description stated when I purchased it. I felt a bit tricked but really didn't want to go through the hustle of calling customer service and file complaint, usually this things take for ever and you hardly ever win. So I kept it and I am enjoying it in this crazy hot weather.

this took along time to get here, for some reason it shipped from California, but it was just as easy to hook up as the other portable air conditioners I have purchased in the past, I have a 700 square foot downstairs and it cooled it easily

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. It seldom gets hot enough to justify central air where we live. Once in a while however we have a few days where it does get a bit uncomfortable. I purchased this unit to take the edge off on those days. I don't expect the unit to lower the inside temp to the high 60's when it's 90 outside. it does what I wanted.

This unit is really easy to set up and does a great job in keeping the house cool. I have set up to cool 2 rooms at the moment and it works very well. The remote is very handy too.

I’ve started using this air conditioner for the 4th year, it still blows cold. The fan is a little loud, but that’s common with this style AC. The plastic piece that goes in the window for the vent hose warped, but I made a new one out of plywood, and I like the way it sits in the window much better.

Well this SPT/14,000 Btu air conditioner has been terrific so far; We’ve had it for about two months now, and have used it steadily almost every day without a single problem, or without having to drain the water reservoir…what a blessing. We have a (2nd) smaller 10,000 Btu portable A/C, (different brand) that requires draining the water about every 2-3 hours, and it’s hooked it up to a one (1) gallon water bottle at the center-outlet, not the bottom plug, otherwise we’d have to drain it every 45 min or so. Anyway, I’m very happy that we purchased the SPT/14,000

Room has 14' ceiling and gets lots of sun, noise acceptable, easy to set up.

I used this unit to cool a loft and bedroom in the summer while my main HVAC unit was being serviced. It did the job and kept two rooms relatively cool even during a heat wave. The fan itself is loud, but powerful. It came with everything needed to install and make a seal with the windows. I wouldn't recommend using the adhesive if this is a temporary solution as it was tough to clean off.

This work really great my room is 14x14 and cools it down in about 5 min. I also like that it has a remote with timer.

We use the unit in our master bedroom which is upstairs and in the summer get over 100. The room is kept nice and cool and we are able to sleep, we set it on automatic. It can be a little loud but not so loud that it will keep you awake. Easy to roll in and out of the closet when not needed.

This is my second portable ac unit. My other one is a dual hose. I decided to give this single hose ac unit a try because it had good reviews and it was good price for the amount of sq ft it covers. I love how the remote displays everything on a little screen. I like how you can turn off the lights on the ac unit from the remote. Only con is the compressor is a little loud but im use to it.

This air conditioner, cools down the entire room quickly. It’s easy to set up and I recommend this to everyone.

Really excellent portable A/C. Remote control. Highest power I could find. Cools room down quickly. It's also a dehumidifier.

I am using the SPT Unit as a an assist to the window unit when outside temperature goes over about 95 degrees. Living in the desert, Summer temps & humidity levels can get extreme during monsoon season. I have been impressed with the function of the 14,000 BTU SPT Unit. It has helped to make life far more comfortable. Don't know how I've survived without it.

I've had other portable/floor air conditioners before and this one is the BEST! Living in the Southwestern desert, it gets very hot here in the summer and I am sensitive to overheating. This unit cools my casita on the hottest days, was easy to set up, and easy to maintain!
