A: It has a Drain Pan on the Bottom. Unit will Display P1 on Top of the Unit's LED Display and shut off when you need to empty drain pan. Once empty, you're ready to go again.
Q: how long is the exhaust hose?
A: The lenght of the hose is 4' 9" long.
Q: My window is too small for the piece that sits in the window, what can I do?
A: I used a hand saw and cut it down
Q: if using a drain hose on the bottom outlet is it still necessary to empty the drain pan
A: I just got mine stilled 5 days ago , been running it nonstop, haven’t had to drain any water yet
A: We live a noisy city so honestly the white noise is great. It's not any louder than any other AC unit we have had. If anything it may be just a bit quieter but again it's not silent.
A: Yes you need to install drain hose if you are using the air conditioner only on your unit. Second when you set the room temperature you desire when it reaches that the unit will cycle as that point and maintain cooling effect.
Q: Does this unit have a heater like it says in the specifications?
A: No it does not. The WA-1420H model does, which is a little more expensive.

A: Exhaust hose is 6" diameter.
