a must for handsfree customer dipping and tapping of card. However you have to remove your square to turn it on and then seat it back into the dock. It remains on if you use it constantly, but if you don't have a customer for 45 minutes, you have to dig it out of the dock and turn the square on again... they should have made some kind of access point so you can turn it on without removing the square.

I recently bought the Square Contactless chip reader. I hesitated on buying the dock. So glad I did. It sits on my station & it's weighed so it doesn't move when my clients push their cards in the reader. Excellent purchase.

This was so easy to use right out of the box with simple set up with your bank account. You have to have the Square reader obviously, but it took a chip read on my first try, its that easy.

Works exactly like it should. Provides bluetooth to the reader and provides an excellent base. Please note - this is the base only - does not include the actual reader.

While you can charge the chip reader via USB cable, using the Dock is very quick and easy to use. Additionally, the charge is quick and it’ll get you on your way to making those necessary charges for your company. The product works great!

With most banks now switching to chipped cards, it has become a necessity to have a chip reader to take payments. The blue tooth option has made it convenient to roam and the plug allows constant charging so no dead moments with the inability to accept payment.

IThis prodact very helpfull to protract the squer terminal from damage and we can charge the square terminal easly it is relay fantastic!

The dock is essential to have with the Square Reader. Outstanding quality and makes the reader very functional. Square should really just sell this as a package deal.

The product was great. However we needed to obtain the insert at another time. Best Buy was out of the insert. We received great service from Best Buy agent. Very knowledgeable and helpful, the store did not have the insert.

Absolutely amazing... It works well with my square reader and my wireless square card reader. It fit right on in... Will not trade it for nothing

This is a really nice "base alone" for the larger chip reader Square. It allows you to place your square in a place and way that is convinient for you and customers. It has a usb cable that allows you to plug the base in, with a usb brick, or to connect to a portable usb battery. The square can then be charged while remaining in the base. There are two drawlbacks that I noticed. One, the cord is not detachable, so it protrudes from the back of the base and can be obstructive. Two, the square will fall asleep in the base if it sits too long. Then it will have to be removed from the base and placed back in, in order to wake up the square.

Easy to setup and use. Thanks Best Buy and Square. Purchase was needed at last minute and came thru as expected.

I was just placing the card reader on my merch. table at my performances, but this looks much more professional and it is easier to not only see, but also makes it easier to use. I'm glad I got it!

Works well with my ipad. My new phone not compatible with the square accessories.

Best investment for my business. I am able to charge the customers quickly and get them processed / out the door.
