Mediocre Russian WWII Movie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Russia's entry for the Best Foreign Film falls flat. The love story is quite silly and out of place in the Battle of Stalingrad. The battle scenes are shot quite well but everything else is subpar.

A good story that hasn't been covered often on screen. Didn't get to view it in 3d yet, but I bet it will look fantastic.

A great foreign film with a great plot.
